Hydrated, glowing complexion with Erborian products

Erborian is a Korean skincare/makeup brand that has been known to me mostly thanks to their very popular CC cream yet I had not tried their products until these ones landed on my doorstep a few months ago. It was just beginning of Summer and the moisturisers sounded absolutely perfect for hot weather and they did delivered! In fact I have completely used up one of them and wouldn't hesitate repurchasing it if my skincare drawer wasn't full of products waiting their turn (beauty blogger problems, LOL!)
So if you're looking for a new moisturiser keep on reading to find out more about these Erborian offerings.

When I saw both moisturisers I was instantly drawn to this one because my skin can get a bit more oily during Summer and keeping it matte is one of my top skincare priorities. The moisturiser has a gel-like consistency and fresh, clean smell. It's super lightweight, sinks into the skin in seconds leaving soft, velvety matte finish on the skin. You can feel immediately that it's intensely hydrating but also mattifying thanks to the Bamboo Powder. Unfortunately my old skin found the mattifying effect a bit too strong and was tight after a while so I gave up using this moisturiser. I think it would be best for young people with normal to oily skin or those with very oily skin. I'm at this age when I need more nourishing products for my skin.

Now, this moisturiser, although at first I didn't think would be for me, worked for my skin absolutely perfect and I used every last drop of it. It's as lightweight and deeply hydrating like the Bamboo Matte but without the mattifying effect. Instead it adds beautiful, natural glow to the skin without being greasy. The texture is absolutely beautiful, it feels like a silk on the skin, gets absorbed in seconds leaving the skin quenched and plumped. I used this moisturiser all through my Summer holidays and never I felt like it made my skin too oily, instead my skin looked radiant and healthy. It wore beautifully under makeup as well. This would be best for anyone with normal to dry skin who wants super lightweight yet deeply hydrating moisturiser.

These moisturisers are mostly aimed at young people so they don't have anti-aging ingredients but well hydrated, plump skin is definitely a youthful sign so I take it anytime and leave to my serums and night time treatments to do the hard work fighting other signs of aging skin :)

Erborian BB Drops, £32 for 20ml

Erborian BB Drops

I was very excited to try this BB Drops which promises 'Baby Skin' effect and who would refuse that perfect, plump, pore-free complexion? LOL!
These are pigment drops which you add to your moisturiser for that smoothing, blurred effect to the skin. I have experimented quite a bit with them and although my skin didn't look like baby skin for sure, they do give that smoother appearance to it. The coverage is very sheer, even with many drops added to the daily portion of a moisturiser, so these are only good for people who don't like wearing makeup but want their skin to look lightly perfected without the heaviness of  a foundation.
I wore the drops mixed with my facial SPF on a few hot days and I enjoyed the natural look of my skin but when I do want to hide some of my imperfections I would definitely reach for my foundation instead.

BB Shot Mask, £6 for one
Buy here: Erborian UK, FeelUnique

I was also sent one of these masks and I loved it, I actually enjoyed it more then the BB Drops, it definitely gave me more of a 'baby skin' effect. It's a sheet mask which leaves your skin very hydrated, plumper and somehow smoother with refined texture. Perfect on those days when you want your skin/makeup to look their best. I would definitely recommend trying these sheet masks and I will be buying more of them as well.

Have you tried any of these Erborian products?
