Omorovicza Complexion Perfector SPF20 - the Summer base that is good for your skin

What a sunny, hot weather we've been having in UK these past few weeks! And although the heat can be a bit unbearable at times I'm not complaining because it's not often we get to have proper Summer for longer then a week :)
But with temperatures reaching 30ÂșC wearing full face of makeup can be a bit tricky as most of it will slide off the face within few hours and on top of that the feeling of having heavy makeup is actually really unpleasant. And while ideally we would let our skin just breathe and go makeup free not everyone feels confident to do so or simply our daily activities, like work, require some effort so we look well put together. I worked for the last 10 days almost every day and while the Boots store I work at has air con wearing too much makeup wasn't an option for me, yet as a beauty advisor I am expected to look the part. And that's where very lightweight, good for my skin, base products, like the new Omorovicza Complexion Perfector, come in handy.

The newest tinted moisturiser by Omorovicza comes in a tube with pump and you can choose between 3 shades available: Light, Medium and Dark. The shades selection isn't great but because the formula offers sheer coverage you don't need the perfect colour as it adjusts to your skin tone quite easily. I was kindly sent shade Light and Medium and I mix them together in equal amounts but I would get away wearing either of them to be honest, although with the Light shade I would need to bronze up my face a bit as it looks a bit too pale on me.
The Complexion Perfector has a consistency of a lightweight moisturiser and it blends easily into skin, I use either my fingers or buffing brush to apply it.
The amount of coverage it provides is quite low but as you can see on the photos below my complexion appears perfected (as the name suggests, duh), imperfections are blurred and my skin looks just better without the need to wear foundation. The formula of the tinted moisturiser stays a bit tacky on the skin so I dust it lightly with a powder after applying it. The finish is quite glowy but in a natural way, it makes the skin looks really healthy. The wear time of the Complexion Perfector on its own is not the best but paired with a dusting of powder and a good setting spray (like this one for example) I can get up to 8 hours of my face looking well which is usually enough for me. I do get a bit of shiny throughout the day so if I'm going to work or out and about I need to make sure I do have some powder with me to lightly mattify my T-zone. My skin is normal to oily for reference.

The Omorovicza Complexion Perfector is not an ordinary tinted moisturiser, it's a hybrid between makeup and skincare and it provides many benefits to the skin. The silicon-free formula contains natural, mineral SPF, Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide which both provides UVA and UVB protection and also give the skin smooth, soft-focus finish. I do wish the SPF protection was higher then 20 but it's still good enough if I'm just popping out to the shop or taking kids to school and I know I won't be outside for longer period of time.
Thanks to hyaluronic acid microspheres which release hyaluronic acid over time this tinted moisturiser is deeply hydrating which results in plumper skin. Addition of Vitamin C boosts the production of collagen and elastin, protects the skin from free radical damage, brightens and helps to even out the skin tone. Squalane improves the moisture balance in the skin and diminishes the production of excess oil, which is a welcome effect for those with oily skin. Omorovicza’s patented Healing Concentrate™ leaves skin firmer, more supple and younger-looking. There are also ingredients like complex of Chai and Larch Arabinogalactan to help soothe and reduce skin irritation.

In short, this tinted moisturiser delivers lots of goodness to the skin, so while it works as a makeup product it's also part of a skincare routine and especially for Summer, when we tend to shorten our skincare regimens, this is the perfect solution. I can see people with dry and/or mature skin loving the Complexion Perfector because it just makes the skin looking better while hydrating and nourishing it. And also those who prefer very minimal makeup should get on really well with it.
I am usually all for foundation with higher coverage but I've been really enjoying this lightweight makeup base during the heatwave. It's so easy to apply it and it doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing lots of makeup.

Do you wear foundation in Summer? Or do you prefer to swap it for tinted moisturiser?
