PIXI Pretties Collection - review + makeup look

Pixi is a brand that has been working with bloggers, vloggers and social influencers for years and it's doing it well. I'm lucky to be one of their 'ambassadors' and I was kindly sent their latest collection of products created with well known in beauty community Chloe Morello, Dulce Candy and Weylie Hoang who have had their beauty Youtube channels for years and are supported by millions of followers!
Pixi definitely wows us with their PR packages (see the Rose Collection here), they're over the top and makes you feel very special and privileged to receive them :) I was totally overwhelmed when I got this large parcel and opened it up!
It's divided in three sections dedicated to each influencer separately, telling us a little bit about them and their chosen products. You do need extra space to store it though, LOL!
Unfortunately these amazing packages aren't available to buy but all the products are and today I want to share with you my thoughts on the latest Pixi collaboration with beauty influencers and a makeup look I created with these products.

This collection of eyeshadows, blushes and lip product are in Chloe's favourite hues inspired by love and romance, so we have romantic shades of pink with lots of subtle glow to make us look 'glowing from within' just as we are when we're in love.
There's a palette with 6 shimmery eyeshadows which can be used as highlighters, 3 matte eyeshadows, perfect to use as liners or to fill in brows with and three blushes, all with subtle shimmer to them. All the powders are quite sheer and need building up and while I don't mind that in blushes I do prefer more pigmented eyeshadows. Despite not the greatest pigmentation the formula is nice to work with, especially with the blushes as naturally you want a sheer veil of colour on your cheeks. They also add very natural looking sheen to the skin without being sparkly.
The Lip Icing is a gloss with very fine glitter in it which reflects the light beautifully adding some nice glossiness to the lips without being heavy or sticky. It will look beautiful in the sun when the particles catch the light. Definitely one of my favourite products from the whole collection.

This collection consists of multi-use palette with 9 shimmery shades which can be used as highlighters, blushes and eyeshadows and 9-shades lip palette which can be used on your lips and cheeks.
I really like this collection, the shimmery shades are super creamy and very pigmented, they work amazingly well on the eyes, especially if applied with a finger or dampened brush, and are beautiful as highlighters, for me the lightest shades work the best but the darker shades would look beautiful on deeper complexions. The pink shades can be used as blush toppers but they can emphasize large pores and texture on the cheeks so I reserve them as eyeshadows.
The lip palette contains some beautiful shades of creamy formula which can be used as lipstick or cream blush, the finish is satin and it's not drying on the lips. Lip palette is not the most practical makeup item in my opinion but if you like experimenting with different shades, create your own lip colours and/or love cream blushes then the palette is definitely worth giving a go.
Pixi + Weylie Hoang Collection
Dimensional Eye Creator, £22

This collection is made of 6-pan eyeshadow palette and dual-ended eyeliner with felt tip black liner on one side and creamy black pencil on the other.
This is such a cute little palette with warm toned eyeshadows, 3 matte and 3 shimmery, again they're a bit on the sheerer side but I found them better quality then the Chloette palette. The eyshadows need building up and create some fallout but they blend very nicely and you can achieve some pretty eye looks with them.
The dual eyeliner is pretty great, very black, the felt tip liner is quite precise so you can draw a thin line with it, and it stays put without smudging. I very rarely create a wing liner as it just doesn't suit my eye shape that much but I made an exception just to test the liner and it was a good experience, the only thing I've noticed it was a light bleeding/feathering of the line in the inner corner of my eye as the skin on my lids is not as smooth as it used to be.
The pencil side is my favourite, very creamy to apply, doesn't smudge and it's pretty waterproof. I usually wear it on my upper waterline and it stays there for most of the day without disappearing and transferring to my lower waterline like many pencils do.
Makeup look I created using the latest Pixi Pretties collection
Pixi&WeylieHoang palette eye look
On my eyes I used most of the shades from the Weylie Hoang eyeshadow palette, the warm matte shades in my crease, the pink and champagne shades all over my lid with the bronze shade defining my outer corner and crease. To highlight my inner corner I used one of the lighter highlighting shades from the Dulce Candy palette. I lined my lashes using the liquid liner and the pencil on my upper lash line.

On my cheeks I used the peachy pink blush from the Chloette palette and the middle shade in the top row of the Dulce Cnady palette as my highlighter.
On my lips I used the peachy shade from the middle row of the Dulce Candy Lip Palette and topped it off with the Lip Icing gloss.
If I were to pick my favourites from this collection of Pixi Pretties it would be the Lip Icing for the on trend glossy, sparkly lips, Café Con Dulce Palette for beautiful, creamy shimmery shades which can be used on face and eyes and the duo-ended eye liner which is part of the Weylie Hoang collection.
Have you tried any of these products? Are you tempted to get something from this collection?
