My perfect Spring/Summer daytime moisturising duo: Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist & Elemental Emulsion

Finding the perfect daytime moisturiser for my skin hasn't been easy but in the last few weeks I have found the combination of two products that seem to be working fantastic for me so I'm excited to share them with you!
My skin is combination with slightly oily T-Zone and normal cheeks, it gets dehydrated quite often but it doesn't like anything too heavy as it's prone to congestion despite my diligent skincare routine. On top of that I'm fast approaching 40 years old so what worked in the past well for my skin doesn't seem to be good enough anymore.
If any of these skin concerns sound familiar to you then keep on reading to find out my hydrating morning duo :)
Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist, Omorovicza Elemental Emulsion

As much as I love nourishing and treating my skin in the evening with facial oils, face masks, richer moisturisers, I like to keep my morning routine fairly simple and not too overload my skin so my makeup applies better and lasts longer. Because my skin is more mature now I often find very lightweight moisturisers not hydrating enough, leaving me with tight uncomfortable skin so I tend to reach for something more nourishing, especially during colder months when my skin is prone to dehydration more. But when the weather warms up I find those richer products too heavy for my skin to use during the day, yet many gel/lotions suitable for oily skin are not good for mine.
After trying out loads of products, some good, some not so much I have found the perfect duo for my skin to keep it hydrated, plumped and nourished all day long without overloading it with heavier formulas.
Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist*, 50ml, £65
Aqua (Water), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Sodium Levulinate, Yeast Extract, Citric Acid, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Limonene, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Sodium Anisate, Linalool, Citronellol, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil, Geraniol, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Phospholipids, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Leaf Cell Culture Extract, Citral, Farnesol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, 4-Terpineol, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate.
Omorovicza Magic Moisture Mist
This is the latest product form Omorovicza,, innovative liquid moisturiser which formula consists of two phases: concoction of nourishing oils and healing Hungarian Thermal Water which Omorovicza products are famous of. The mist offers immediate, weightless hydration, perfect for any skin type, either as a booster for dry, parched skin or super lightweight moisturiser for very oily skin.
The mixture of Wheat Germ Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Olive Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Rosehip Oil nourish, hydrate and protect the skin without overloading it.
The mist feels incredibly lightweight on the skin yet very hydrating. On days when I'm not planning to wear any makeup and/or venture outside I just spray the mist onto my face a few times a day for an instant and long lasting hydration. I can imagine the mist being fantastic during Summer months because not only it feels soothing and refreshing but it injects moisture and nourishment into the skin. If you're planning Summer holidays and you'll be on the plane then this can be your life saver! We'll be travelling a lot this August (going by car to Poland) and I know this face mist will be my face's best friend!
I've not used it over makeup as I generally don't need it but I can imagine it can add a beautiful glow to dry skin.
Just as all Omorovicza products, the Magic Moisture Mist oozes luxury with its frosted glass bottle and extremely fine mist action. Yes, it's expensive, but if you struggle to find face mist that is truly hydrating and your budget allows the splurge then I think it's totally worth it.

 Omorovicza Elemental Emulsion

 Omorovicza Elemental Emulsion
I got this travel size (30ml) Elemental Emulsion in a set I got for Christmas (check out this post) and started using it straight away but because of the cold weather and how badly dehydrated my skin was at that time I needed to add a drop of oil to make it a bit more nourishing for my skin. I knew that during warmer months this moisturiser will be absolutely perfect for my skin so I saved it for Spring.
It's a very lightweight, oil-free lotion which sinks in to the skin immediately without leaving any residue, just plumped, moisturised, soft skin.
It comes in a glass, frosted bottle with a pump which is really great. The consistency is very liquid-y yet it feels so much more hydrating then any other lotion type of moisturiser I've tried in the past. It would be perfect on its own for normal to oily or oily skin and it will work as a great booster/serum for drier skin types.
The Emulsion provides long lasting hydration to the skin thanks to Sodium Hyaluronate which binds water to improve moisture retention for plumper, smoother skin.
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (an anti-oxidant vitamin C derivative) corrects and brightens skin tone and encourages collagen production.
Marine Exopolysaccharide reduces shine by absorbing and trapping excess sebum which is why the Emulsion works so well on oilier skin as a makeup base.
I've been using this duo for the last three weeks as a part of my morning skincare routine and my skin is loving it. It feels hydrated, plumped, smoother, much less congested and it's definitely not getting too oily throughout the day. I have also noticed that when using my more hydrating/dewier foundations I don't get as shiny as I used to before I switched up my daytime skincare.
If your skin is similar to mine or you just want deeply hydrating yet super lightweight products then I encourage you to check out the Omorovicza offerings.
If you want to try some Omorovicza products without the high price tag they offer fantastic service on their website called Mix & Match Travel where you can pick three travel sizes of some of their products for only £50. Perfect way to stock up on your favourites for the holidays season or just try some of their products before investing in full sizes.
