Three Vegan brands worth checking out

Today I want to move away from the Christmas or Black Friday themed posts (if you've missed out on my Christmas gifts guides they're here and here) and focus on three vegan brands that are worth checking out if you're vegan or buying some beauty bits for your vegan loved ones.
I am not vegan and can't see myself becoming one anytime soon due to my unconditional love for cheese, LOL!, but I respect people who are and seeing as November is World Vegan Month I thought I share some brands and products that are vegan friendly.
And if you're not vegan but like more natural, "green" beauty products then you may also find some products worth trying.

My Christmas gifts recommendations, #1: for skincare junkies

It's that time of year again, when I buy more gifts for myself then for others, haha!
Joking aside, we're half way through November and I'm sure many of us have started planning their Christmas and gathering gift ideas for your family and friends.
I love this time of year for all the Holidays new launches in the beauty world but also for all the great gift sets which are usually good value for money. I always buy a few for myself because they're the perfect way to try new products, explore new brands or just stock up on old favourites.
There will be plenty of gift guides on different blogs, there are tons of gift sets and gift ideas in shops and online retailers to help you pick something for yourself or for someone close to you. So I won't bore you with a lengthy post showing you what's available, instead I want to share with you 5 skincare sets which I have tried myself and I think they're great and will make a perfect Christmas gift for someone who loves beauty or you could put them on your Christmas wish list.
I won't be reviewing all these products in detail as that's not the point of this post but will give you my first impressions on them and tell you why I think they're worth buying amongst all the others.

My journey to healthy, strong nails

I had battled weak, brittle nails for years, had tried many different products, supplements, tips and tricks to strengthen them but the effects weren't impressive and not long lasting. Not only my nails wouldn't grow longer before breaking but also would peel easily meaning none of my nail polishes wouldn last longer then couple of days before chipping. I pay lots of attention to my hands and look after them on daily basis, use hand cream multiple times a day, wear gloves when doing housework etc. so having my nails being in a bad condition was very frustrating. About 4 months ago they reached the bottom line, would break and peel constantly and I knew it's time for a very intensive treatment.
I know many of you struggle with weak nails so I thought I would share with you how I managed to achieve healthy and strong nails and products which helped me with that.

1 palette - 3 eye looks, Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette

I'm back today with another instalment of my '1 palette - 3 eye looks' series, this time sharing 3 eye looks created with the Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette (check here Too Faced Sweet Peach, ABH Modern Renaissance). As I mentioned in my 'recent beauty favourites' post I've been obsessed with this palette, I think the quality of the eyeshadows is really good, better then the other Morphe eyeshadows I've tried, and the shades selection is beautiful. I know some of you don't like large palettes but I personally love having plenty of choices in one palette so for me it's an advantage. I've heard the palette is coming back with new, more sleek packaging and with the names of eyeshadows written in the palette which is something my palette is missing but never mind, I still love it (the palette is currently available on BeautyBay).
With 35 eyeshadows there are tons of possibilities to create many different eye looks but, as usual, I will share today only 3. Let me know if you would be interested in seeing more as I could totally gather another 3 to show you in the future. I focus only on the eye makeup but will also tell you what I wore on my lips to complement the eyes.

Without further ado let's get to the looks.
