Two fabulous overnight face masks

Firstly, welcome back, guys! It's been a while :)
I had the longest blogging break, over 3 weeks, since I started blogging 3 years ago but I really needed it and I'm not going to lie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought I might get some posts ready during the break so I will be ahead when I come back but it didn't happen, I just needed to switch off and forget about blogging and all the work that comes with it. Instead I had a great time with my family, relaxing, exploring and just having fun without spending hours in front of my laptop. But it's time to get back to work as, even though I didn't miss blogging during my break, I wouldn't want to give it up as I have put too much love and effort into it during all those years and I have met some amazingly supportive and lovely people, my readers and followers, many of whom have become my friends.
So I'm back, and I have some fantastic products to share with you today.
Cloud 9 Skin Solutions Good Night Deep Nourishing Sleep Mask and Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask

I was kindly sent some awesome skincare products in the last few months and I'm slowly but surely going through them all. Today I want to talk about two great face masks, one I've been suing for a while, the other is a new addition to my routine but it has quickly impressed me. Out of all the skincare products face masks are probably my favourites, simply because they're usually very effective from the first use and you can tell almost immediately if the face masks will work well for your skin. And even better if you can leave your mask overnight to not only speed up your evening skincare routine but also get the most of its active ingredients.
Cloud 9 Skin Solutions Good Night Deep Nourishing Sleep Mask*, £38 (50ml)
Cloud 9 Skin Solutions Good Night Deep Nourishing Sleep Mask

Housed in a pretty purple bottle with a pump dispenser this face mask is absolutely fantastic at re-hydrating and nourishing my skin.
Main active ingredients:
- Hydrogenated Avocado Oil which is not only extremely nourishing but also soothing and high in antioxidants,
- Vitamins E, B12, A (Retinyl Palmitate) help with the skin's renewal process, restoring collagen and reducing/preventing wrinkles and fine lines.

You can use this face mask every night but I find it a bit too rich for my skin (combination with oily T-zone) so I use it after exfoliating my skin or deeply cleansing it, 1-2 times a week. It's a creamy mask which sinks into the skin pretty well leaving only slight film, it doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It has subtle comforting scent which helps me to relax in the evening.
Every time I use this face mask my skin feels immediately soothed and hydrated, in the morning I wake up to plumped and soft skin with any fine lines reduced. The mask is perfect at getting rid of any dry patches and deeply hydrating and nourishing my skin. It has quickly become my favourite product to use after exfoliation or when my skin feels dry and parched like when I spent a day out in the sun or on the beach.
I highly recommend this mask to anyone with dry or/and dehydrated skin or to those that, like me. like to use hydrating and nourishing face mask after their weekly skin treatments like exfoliation.

Omorovicza Midnight Radiance Mask

I've only had this face mask only for over 2 weeks but it has quickly stolen my heart. As soon as I saw this new launch from Omorovicza I was super excited as the mask sounds perfect for my skin type and issues I battle with. So when I was kindly sent it I was over the moon and tried it straight away the same day. At this point I have used the mask 6-7 times, I try to apply it every other night and I've already noticed improvement in the appearance of my skin.
Main active ingredients:
- Salicylic Acid BHA, gently exfoliates and brightens the skin leaving it smooth and soft to the touch, it works deep in the pores so perfect for those of us with easily congested skin,
- Sand Lily reduces the size of dark spots by inhibiting the production of melanin,
- Red Alga and Sodium Hyaluronate lock in moisture and provide long lasting hydration,
- Copper Gluconate regulates the production of sebum.
I have combination skin with slightly more oily T-zone, I have some hyperpigmentation, which looks more visible after Summer and skin on my forehead and chin gets easily congested despite me having good skincare routines. So I had really high hopes for this mask, when looking at the ingredients list it seems like it was formulated with my needs in mind :) And I have to say that I am loving it so far! I haven't used it long enough to confirm how effective it is at all the claims but I can tell you that my dark spots are getting less visible, my skin is smoother and softer with less under skin bumps and less congestion. I was a bit worrying that the mask won't be hydrating enough as you're suppose to leave it on the skin, after cleansing, on its own but it's actually the opposite, my skin is hydrated and plumped in the morning. The face masks doesn't feel harsh at all, I don't get any tingling sensation when having it on which sometimes happens with face masks containing AHA and/or BHA, the consistency makes it cooling and almost soothing.
The face mask has a gel-like consistency, you don't need much to cover your entire face. It mostly sinks in the skin but I can feel a thin, slightly tacky film after applying it which doesn't really bother me as it's a night time, it doesn't feel gross though or you won't get your pillow messy.
I know the price of this mask is quite high but if your budget allows and you have similar skin concerns I do then I think you won't regret investing in it.
Also, I've seen a travel size of this amazing mask in Latest in Beauty where you create your own beauty box by selecting 3, 6 or 9 products for as little as £9 (3-products box) so here's your chance to try the Omorovicza mask before buying the full size.
Have you tried any of these face masks? Do you like using sleep masks?
