5 facial cleansers I will definitely repurchase

As much as I love playing with and applying makeup I think cleansing off my face in the evening is my favourite part of my beauty routines. Long gone are days when I just used a foaming facial wash without paying much attention to the cleansing process, for years it's been almost a ritual of double cleanse every evening. And today I want to share with 5 fabulous facial cleansers which not only are great quality, work well for my skin but also are very reasonably priced.
I have tried some more expensive cleansers which I loved but I do prefer to invest my money in facial serum or oil, maybe even face mask but not as much in my cleanser which doesn't have a lot of time to work its magic on the skin before is washed off. Having said that I still want amazing products but I will much more likely repurchase cleansers with budget friendly price tag and these 5 are just that!
Best affordable facial cleansers

Palmer's Facial Cleansing Oil

I have talked about this cleansing oil in one of my recent posts on my evening skincare routine and I'm still using it, loving it and will definitely repurchase once it's finished. Firstly, the oil removes all my makeup with ease, secondly, it smells incredible, it's such a relaxing moment when I massage it all over my face. Infused with 8 pure oils: Argan Oil, Apricot Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sesame Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Soybean Oil and Grape Seed Oil it's also incredibly hydrating and nourishing. It comes with a pump and it's an absolute bargain!
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

So I'm about 100 years late to this party but finally, last month, I've tried the cult Hot Cloth Cleanser and quickly have fallen in love with it. Enriched with Cocoa Butter to soften, smooth and moisturise the skin, and Rosemary, C hamomile and Eucalyptus Extracts to tone, soothe and purify. I love the refreshing and invigorating scent of this cleanser and its rich, creamy texture that it's very easy to remove with either water or damp face cloth (my preferred method). It leaves my skin very clean, soft and supple. I like to use it both ways as my makeup remover (1st cleanse) or second cleanse. The pump dispenses the right amount of product and although it's hard to see when the product is running low I already know this will be a repurchase, I might try some limited version of it as the brand likes to bring those out every now and again, currently they have Rose and Lavender one and Grapefruit and Patchouli.
Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser, £18 (135ml)
Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser

A few months ago I tried a travel set of some of Pixi skincare products and I absolutely loved the Glow Mud Cleanser so I had to purchase the full size of it. This is clay cleanser which contains 5% Glycolic Acid to purify and gently exfoliate the skin. This is definitely a second cleanse or morning time cleanser, I don't use it to remove my makeup with it. I also don't use it every day although I don't think the exfoliating properties are strong enough to over-exfoliate the skin with daily use.
I like to apply it to my dry skin, leave it for a minute or two and then remove it with a damp face cloth, this way it works almost as an express face mask. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and smooth but not stripped from moisture. Enriched with nourishing oils (Avocado, Wheat Germ, Hazelnut Seed, Sesame Seed), Glycerin, Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid helps to soothe and hydrate the skin.
I think every skin would benefit from this cleanser but especially those on the oilier side.

Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm

I can't stop talking about this cleanser simply because I absolutely love it, from the relaxing, comforting scent to the texture of a balm which transforms into oil, to how soft and supple it leaves my skin. It contains Sweet Almond Oil, Echium Oil and Mangosteen Fruit Extract which not only help to remove makeup, dirt and grime from the skin but also nourish and hydrate it.
I massage a pea size of it all over my face, then add a bit of water for it to start emulsify and then remove it with damp face cloth. If you love cleansing balms but you haven't tried the Merumaya offering yet I highly recommend it! It's equally good to use it as a makeup remover, your second cleanse or in the morning if you like. For me it's my perfect second cleanse cleanser.
DHC Face Wash Powder*, £10.50 (50g)
DHC Face Wash Powder
DHC Face Wash Powder

Last but not least it's this fun looking powder cleanser from Japan's No1 skincare brand. It comes as a powder which easily lathers once you add some water to it. It contains Protease Enzymes to gently exfoliate the skin, Honey to moisturise and Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin. I was afraid the cleanser would be drying but that's not the case, I've been using it for over a month and it didn't cause any dryness in my skin.
I love to use it as my morning facial cleanser, in the shower. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and smooth but not stripped from moisture. And it's perfect for traveling as it comes in such a small and light packaging.

Have you tried any of these cleansers? What are your most favourite facial cleansers?

PS. My regular readers might have noticed a change in my posting schedule, I've decided to post now on Tuesdays PM and Fridays AM, as with me currently working most weekends this schedule seems to be easier to maintain.
