Makeup look: Winter-y silvers and purples

There's something about Winter and cold weather that makes me reach for cooler tones in my makeup, especially taupe, purple and silver. And today I want to share with you this cool toned makeup look which I created recently. I really wanted to wear this purple lipstick, Urban Decay After Dark, so I basically made the makeup around it :) Because of the blue shift the lipstick has it matches the cooler tones really well.
Makeup look: Winter-y silvers and purples

Primer: Hylamide HA Blur for smoothing out my skin without making it feel greasy or dry.
Foundation: L'oreal True  Match in shade 2N. I'm finally pale enough to wear this, yey! to sun-less weather, haha! I really like this foundation for a nice coverage without looking too mate or heavy on the skin.
Concealer: as usual my favourite combo when creating a bit more glam look, Pixi Peach Corrector to cancel out any darkness and Bourjois Radiance Reaveal concealer in Ivory.
Powder: (not pictured) RCMA No Colour Powder to set my concealer and a dusting of Laura Geller Balance-and-Glow Baked Foundation to set my liquid foundation.
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola to bronze and lightly contour my face.
Blush: Benefit Dandelion for a very subtle pink on my cheeks.
Highlighter: The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer to add glow to the tops of my cheeks.

Primer: concealer set with powder.
Eyeshadows: Makeup Geek: White Lies, Tuscan Sun, Curfew, Americano, High Wire, Backlight.
Eyeliner: Makeup Forever Aqua XL in Black to line my waterline and tight line my upper lashes.
False Lashes: Ardell Demi Wispies.

Makeup Geek eyeshadows
White Lies - above my crease up to the brows to highlight the brow bone,
Tuscan Sun - in and above crease as a transitional shade and to add a touch of warmth to the eye look,
Curfew - in the outer corner and outer crease,
Americano - to deepen out the outer corner and smoked out lower lash line,
High Wire - all over the mobile lid except the outer corner,
Blacklight - in the inner corner and in the centre of the lid on top of the High Wire.
Check out my previous post on all my essential eye makeup brushes.

Urban Decay Comfort Matte Lipstick in After Dark, I have the old version of this lipstick in the old packaging but the same shade with the same formula is available in the new Vice range.

And this is the finished look :)
