On Monday I shared with you my favourite mauve lipsticks and blushes which are just perfect for Autumn, in my opinion, and today I want to show you how to create a soft mauve makeup look with the shade on the eyes, cheeks and lips. For my eye makeup I used Morphe Brushes 35T palette which has a wide selection of beautiful, not only taupe, but also mauve and purples tones.
Base
Primer - Daciem Hylamide Matte12
Foundation - Urban Decay All Nighter, shade 3.25, if you read my review you know that I'm not exactly loving this foundation but it certainly looks good in pictures :)
Concealer - Seventeen Wow! Skin Concealer (not pictured)
Powder - to set the concealer I used the Inglot HD Sculpting powder and for the rest of my face a mix of Hourglass Dim Light and Diffused Light Ambient Lighting Powders.
Bronzer - Hourglass Ambient Lighting Luminous Bronze, I'm obsessed with it and refuse to use anything else :)
Contour - Inglot HD Sculpting powder
Blush - Hourglass Mood Exposure
Highlighter - Hourglass Strobing Powder Iridescent Light
Eyes
Primer - Benefit Air Patrol (not pictured)
Eyeshadows - Morphe Brushes 35T palette
Eye liners - Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Vice
Mascara - Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious
False lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies
Brows - Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Medium Brown
Because the eyeshadows in the palette don't have names I numbered those used in this eye look.
Lips
On my lips I used one of my favourite lipsticks ever, the Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anna.
And that's the finished look :)
I like wearing those cooler makeup looks in A/W as they make me think of colder weather although we've been very lucky this year and still have quite high temperatures here in UK :)
Do you like wearing mauve tones in your makeup? Do you mix them with warmer tones or stick to cool tones like I did in this look?
