There's something about green eyeshadows that makes me always excited to create eye looks with them, obviously, they're not your typical everyday neutrals, but they're fun and definitely less scary to work with then other brighter colours. Recently I got one of the newest Makeup Geek eyeshadows called Venom which is a beautiful metallic forest green and I couldn't wait to put it on my eyes.
So today I'm sharing with you look I created with this colour. I paired it with another stunning and very unique shade called Karma, light gold duo-chrome with lime green shift and added some very warm tones to balance out the cooler greens.
Face
Primer - Hylamide HA Blur (review) I'm absolutely in love with this primer, it's not the best at mattifying skin but it's amazing at blurring pores and fine lines.
Foundation - Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless in shade 220, another product I can't stop using, especially paired with the above primer, although the coverage of this foundation is not higher then medium the blurring properties make it just perfect for my needs.
Concealer - Seventeen Cosmetics WOW! Skin Concealer in Fair, excellent at brightening the under eye area (review).
Powder - to set under eye concealer I used the light shade from the Seventeen Define & Conquer Contour Kit and to set the rest of my face I dusted lightly Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in shade Dim Light.
Bronzer - I didn't do any contouring, just applied some Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer across my forehead, temples and cheeks.
Blush - I wanted quite neutral blush so I reached for Too Faced Love Flush 16-Hour Blush in Baby Love.
Highlighter - The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer.
Eyes
Primer - Freedom Makeup Pro Eye Primer.
Eyeshadows - Makeup Geek: White Lies, Chickadee, Morocco, Cocoa Bear, Venom, Karma, Corrupt.
Eye pencil - Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Espresso.
Mascara - Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious.
False lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies.
Lips
I wanted to keep my lips neutral and let the eyes do the talking, I used ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Echo Park (review).
And this is the finished look :)
I really liked how the eye look turned out and I think it would look especially beautiful on brown eyes.
As usual, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this makeup, so please, leave a comment.
