The nude lipsticks edit

As much as I love bright and bold lipsticks there is no doubt that I can't be without my favourite nude shades which are perfect with any makeup look and easy to wear on everyday basis. Every beauty junkie enthusiast knows that there are lots of shades of a nude lipstick, from browns, beiges, peaches to pinks. I usually reach for those leaning towards pink shades, but I also like brown and mauve toned nude lipsticks. Today I want share with you my current favourite everyday, 'goes with everything' lipsticks.

Nude lipsticks

NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar, £6.50 - beautiful mauve pink shade, my lips but better with a semi matte finish, it feels comfortable on the lips and lasts up to 4 hours depending on the amount of eating and drinking. Great pigmentation, it's opaque on the lips in couple of swipes.

NYX High Voltage Lipstick in Flutter Kiss, £5.50 - brown toned pink nude shade, very creamy and moisturising, lasts 2-3 hours on the lips without eating, the pigmentation is really good and I like the thin bullet which makes the application super easy.

Nude lipsticks

Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 08, £5.49 - one of my all time favourite lipsticks, slightly brown nude with pink undertones, very creamy and pigmented with satin finish, lasts about 3 hours on the lips and feels quite moisturising. And I also really like the slightly sweet scent of Rimmel lipsticks :)

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 04 Rose Tweed, £7.99 - very similar in tone to the Rimmel one but slightly more pink, sits very comfortable on the lips, applies smoothly and lasts about 3 hours if eating is involved.

Nude lipsticks

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Nude Pop, £16 - this is the lightest of all my favourite nudes but it still gives a nice pink colour to my lips, it has some subtle shimmer particles which make the lips look glossy and fuller, the lipstick feels moisturising on the lips but it lasts only 2-3 hours and it doesn't survive any meal, but it's so easy to re-apply that I really don't mind it and as you can see I've almost finished it as I use it very often.

MAC Satin Lipstick in Brave, £15.50 - the most pink shade of them all, at least on my lips, beautiful mauve-y pink nude, great pigmentation and formula, although it can feel slightly drying after couple of hours. Lasts between 3-4 hours on my lips.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Chihuahua, £19 - this is the most brown nude of all these but it leans slightly towards pink-y brown on my lips, fantastic pigmentation and great staying power between 4-6 hours depending on the amount of food and drinks in the meantime. Although it's a liquid lipstick the finish is quite glossy and the lipstick transfers just like any other non-matte formulas but it does feel very comfortable on the lips.

These are my current favourite nude lipsticks, all of them have good formulas, feel moisturising on the lips and wear off in a nice way. I reach for them most days as they're easy and comfortable to wear and just go with whatever makeup I have on that day.

Have you tried any of these lipsticks? Which nude lipstick is your most favourite?
