Halloween: dramatic cat eye makeup look

Last week I shared with you 'not so glamorous' Vampire Halloween look and today I want to show you a look perfect for a Halloween night out/party without dressing up but with a bit of edge and more drama then your regular smokey eyes. I have created this kind of cat eye look before many times and it's quite easy to do, you only need to be careful with blending but with the right tools anyone can do it. You can choose whatever colours you like but I chose purple and peachy orange as these shades make me think of Halloween, just be sure to apply black eyeshadow to the outer corner of the eye for the look to stand out more.

Primer - Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant Perfecting Power Primer (review)
Foundation - Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot All Day Liquid To Powder Foundation in Cool Sand (review)
Contouring/Highlighting - Freedom Makeup Contouring Stick in Medium and Freedom Makeup Pro Powder Strobe Palette (review)
Blush - Benefit Coralista
Brows - Inglot Pro Pomade #16
Base - Lord & Berry Kohl Kajal in Black
Eyeshadows - Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveller Palette (review)
Pigment - Inglot #35, gorgeous duo-chrome purple with cool golden shift.
Mascara - Eye Of Horus Goddess Mascara, absolutely love this mascara, although not the easiest to remove but it makes my lashes really stand out.
False Lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies

I thought I would pair this eye look with a vampy lips to make it more Halloween appropriate but, frankly, I couldn't find anything in my collection that made me love the finished effect, so, more then a few tries and sore lips later, I decided to go with a safe nude shade, I chose Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Chihuahua which I'm in love with at the moment.
And this is the finished look :)

As usual, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this makeup look, so please comment below. Which lipstick shade would you choose if you were to recreate this look?
Hope you all have a fab Halloween weekend whatever you will be doing!
PS. I had a terrible week with my little boy being very poorly but he's feeling better now so I hope we'll be doing 'trick or treat' tomorrow as him and his brother are really looking forward to dressing up and collecting lots of sweets :)
