Welcome to another Friday makeup look post! Today I want to share with you look which I love wearing all year round and only slightly change the shade of my lipstick or the intensity of the eye makeup depending on the season or occasion. Bronze golden eyes and red lips is such a classic look which can be easily toned down for everyday or glammed up for a night out. As long as you find the perfect red lipstick for yourself in which you feel comfortable, this look can be worn by anyone, at any age.
Face
Primer - Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup primer, check my primers post to find out more about this product.
Foundation - I need to de-clutter my makeup collection so I've been using again all my older foundations to be sure which ones are going to the bin, at that day I was testing out the Maybelline SuperStay 24 foundation in the shade Sand (stay tuned for another de-clutter post).
Concealer - to hide any darkness under my eyes and brighten that area I used my favourite at the moment combination of Maybelline Fit Me in the shade 10 and L'Oreal Lumi Magique in Light, both of them work great on my skin, and after setting them with powder, they don't crease.
Powder - to set my concealer and foundation I used the L'Oreal True Match powder in the shade W1 Golden Ivory.
Bronzer - to add a bit of warmth to my face I used Maybelline Dream Sun bronzer in Brunette and to contour my cheeks the Maybelline Master Sculpt in Medium/Dark.
Highlighter - to add bronzey glow to my cheekbones I used the top three shades from the Instant Glow Shimmer Brick in Gold Bronze by Seventeen, such a gorgeous product!
Blush - to the apples of my cheeks I added a bit of colour with Zoeva blush in the shade He Loves Me Maybe.
Eyes
I used Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette ( review) which houses the most beautiful gold shade called Pure Ganache which I'm obsessed with since the moment I saw it. To complement the gold I used also Substitute For Love, Freshly Toasted, Beans Are White and Bitter Start from the palette.
Lips
I used the Clinique Lip Colour and Primer lipstick in the shade Cherry Pop (review) which has this vibrant cherry red colour, perfect for Summer evening. The lipstick stays for a few hours on the lips but it feathers slightly so it's wise to use a lip liner underneath.
And that's the finished look :)
Let me know if this is a look you'd wear or if the red lipstick scares you a bit. What is your favourite makeup look that makes you feel glamorous?
Have a lovely weekend!

I love red lips, they're my favorite lip color (aside from the usual mauve nude shade). The shadows in this palette are so pigmented, they look stunning!

ReplyDeleteI would wear a bit of a frosty lipstick to tie in the red to the eyeshadow, but that is me. I do loooooove the shade though.

I love the way you have the eyeshadow picture in the palette and on your eye next to the description. It makes it a lot easier to follow! I love red lipstick on other people, but it's a little intimidating to me personally.
