A few weeks ago I shared with you all the beauty products I bought while meeting my two blogging friends, Pam and Brenda. Amongst them were some bits from KIKO which I want to show you today and share my thoughts on them. Even though we spent ages in the shop browsing through all the makeup I only got a few things, mostly eyeshadows (surprised much?), basically things that were different from anything in my makeup collection.
Velvet Mat-Satin Lipstick in Natural Rose (£6.90), beautiful dusty rose shade, perfect for any season, any time, my sort of 'my lips but better' colour. What attracted me mostly about this lipstick was the stunning rose gold packaging. But the formula is also really nice, very creamy with satin finish, it applies smoothly, it doesn't settle into any lines and feels very comfortable on the lips. It's not the most long lasting lipstick, I'd say you need to re-apply it after around 3 hours but it wears of evenly so you're not left with the dreaded line around your lips. It has a delicate sweet scent which is always a bonus. And it definitely looks like a luxe product not a drugstore one.
Last but not least are my two favourite products, the Water Eyeshadows (£8.90 each) in the shades Flamingo Pink and Dark Slate Green.
Can we just take a moment and appreciate how beautiful these eyeshadows look with this 3D wave-like pattern?!
The packaging is also nice and sleek with a little handy mirror inside. But the formula is what it will make you fall in love with these. They're very soft and feel almost creamy with an amazing pigmentation. Both can be used dry or wet for greater intensity.
Dark Slate Green is a deep emerald with tiny turquoise sparkles and looks absolutely stunning, the picture doesn't do its justice. I can't wait to create a dramatic smokey eye look with it but so far I've been enjoying wearing it as a liner and it looks beautiful!
Flamingo Pink is a bright baby pink with golden sheen to it and while it looks beautiful as a part of eye makeup, it also make a stunning blush/highlighter. I use it on my cheeks with a duo-fiber brush for a subtle flush of colour with a golden glow, it looks truly beautiful.
I'm so in love with these two Water Eyeshadows that I'm planning on buying a few more, Champagne looks like it would be an incredible highlighter and Golden Mauve calls my name :)
Have you tried any of these products from KIKO? What are your favourite bits from the brand?

Oh wow the Water Eyeshadows are unbelievable, they look really similar to the NARS Dual Intensity E/S. Kiko is a brand I still haven't tried yet, I really want to though as I always see gorgeous products in posts.
