Today I want to share with you a makeup look which I created using Zoeva Retro Future palette. I liked it so much that I wore that eye look twice already and I'm sure I will recreate it again. It's colourful but still wearable in my opinion, perfect for Spring/Summer and if you like purple shades on your eyes I hope you will enjoy it.
I kept the rest of my face quite toned down but nicely bronzed to look a bit tanned as the makeup makes me think of holidays :)
For my face I used my new primer Pores No More by DrBrandt and my 'oldie but goodie' Revlon Color Stay foundation in Sand Beige.
For under my eyes I used my favourite at the moment combo of Maybelline Better Skin concealer in Light and L'Oreal Lumi Magique in Light.
To set my base products in place I applied the light powder from the BarryM Contour Kit under my eyes and the L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder on the rest of my face.
For my eye makeup I used the following eyeshadows from the Retro Future palette.
This time I decided to show you step by step short pictorial for easier understanding of how I achieved the eye look, let me know if you like this kind of 'tutorial' or prefer just the pictures of finished makeup look.
To finish off my makeup I contoured and bronzed my face using bronzers from the BarryM Contour Kit and Avon Face Pearls as a blusher and highlighter at the same time as they give a beautiful glow to the skin.
For my lips I used the cutest sample lipstick ever, the Burberry Kisses Lipstick in 05 Nude Pink which is the most gorgeous nude shade that goes with any makeup look.
And that's the finished look :)
Let me know what do you think of this makeup look. Is it something you'd wear?
Would you like me to create another makeup look using the Retro Future palette or you'd prefer a different one?
If you have any suggestions for my future makeup looks, please, share them with me and I will try to do them.

Love the new step tutorial, such a great way for newbies like me to follow it. I love that palette and the look that you have done is stunning, and suits you really well. I think I would wear that look too as it is not too over the top. Would love to see more looks from this palette too :)

Thank you hun! I agree that the look is not too much out there especially for the evening, so definitely give it a go :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! Playing with colours is so much fun :) I used to do step by step 'pictorials', then stopped because I wasn't sure if people actually go through them and also it's extra work to take the pictures and then edit them, but I guess it's helpful for readers to see how exactly the makeup was achieved. I like them personally :) x
