Hello!
I can't believe it's the end of September, this month really flew by like no other for me. When I started seeing a couple of days ago in my Bloglovin feed 'September favourites' posts I was quite shocked that the end of the month has come so quick.
Anyway, back to my beauty favourites, there are only three products I've decided to feature this month. I still absolutely love my August favourites and as I didn't buy much beauty products during September there were not that many products in my everyday routine that hasn't been reviewed or featured before.
So let me tell you about those new beauties who stood out for me this month.
Recently I've been getting so obsessed with lipsticks and it seems like all the bold shades attract me the most. This lipstick from Rimmel by Kate #30 is a gorgeous deep plum shade that I can't get enough of it. I've been wearing it every weekend when I get the chance to glam myself up a bit more or even around the house as I enjoy it so much ( yeah, that crazy lady taking the rubbish outside with purple lipstick on might be me, lol!). So even though I reviewed it already I had to put it in my recent favourites post.
So Susan Universal Blush has been a cheek product that I've been reaching for it nearly everyday for the last month, it's a beautiful dusted pink/mauve shade with subtle sheen that gives me healthy looking flush of colour and works as a highlighter at the same time. And it goes well with my Rimmel lipstick :)
One day while shopping in Asda I saw an offer on some Rimmel products and out of curiosity decided to pick up the Lasting Finish Foundation in Classic Beige. What drew my attention to this product was the full coverage claim and that's what I want from my foundation. It was only £5 so I didn't risk much. And I have to say that I'm really enjoying it and have been using it every day since I got it a couple of weeks ago. It gives me medium to full coverage and the finish is really lovely. It doesn't last as long as it claims, I'd say that on my skin stays in good condition for around 6-7 hours without using any primer which is not bad for a drugstore, very affordable offering. It blends beautifully and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. The only downside is the shade as it has pink undertones which is not the best for my warm complexion but I've been mixing it with a drop of my Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover which is a bit too yellow for me and the mixed shade is perfect.
Have you tried any of those products? What's your most favourite September beauty product?

It supposed to contain serum and it does feel really hydrating and comfortable, more like skincare than a makeup. It is really nice foundation! xx

ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you can find my blog useful. With the amongous amount of skincare and makeup products it can be overhelming but it's all about knowing what kind of skin you have and slowly try testing different products. I'm 35 and still looking for my holy grails :) Thanks for stopping by! x
