Manicure Monday #11

Can't believe it's September already! Where the time has gone?
Anyway I am slightly excited for the new season approaching and with it cosy sweaters, long evenings with hot drink and darker nails:)
The weather hasn't been the best lately so my choice of colour for this week manicure was different from my Summery bright pinks and corals.
BarryM Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blood Orange (RRP £3.99 )

BarryM Blood Orange

BarryM Blood Orange
It's the perfect red shade suitable for all seasons and any occasion. I love it! Red nails are such a classic and make me feel instantly more elegant and glamorous, even in my pyjamas :)
I've read mixed reviews on the Gelly Hi-Shine line but this particular shade has a great formula that applies beautifully to the nail and you can get away just with one coat as it's really opaque. I'm wearing here two coats and my Orly top coat but the nail polish leaves amazing shine so can be worn on its own. The longevity is not the best, my nails usually start chipping on the second day but also I think it depends on my nails because it happened before that the nail polish lasted 3 long days without chips which is impressive for me.
I love the shade and I'm really looking forward to darker, more muted shades on my nails in the coming weeks.
What's on your nails this week?
