Empties #3 What I used up in June

Another 'Empties' post, it seems like I'm going through beauty products very fast! I kind of like to finish one product before starting another. But still have usually 2 of each kind in use, so many products to try, so little time!

Body care
Dove Instant Hydration Nourishing Lotion - I love Dove body lotions, they absorb quickly leaving skin moisturised and soft and the price is great. I always repurchase those.
Nivea Sunny melon & Oil shower gel - lovely smelling shower gel that lathers well and doesn't dry out the skin  and cheap, what's not to love. I normally buy Nivea shower gels so it's another continuous repurchase.
Femfresh Triple Actin Pure & Fresh Gel wash - that's not very exciting item, is it? haha But my everyday essential, I've been using a separate wash for my intimate hygiene for years  and can't imagine a shower without one. Another repurchase in this department!
La Roche-Posay Lipikar Xerand Hand Cream - I've written a whole post on this cream, I love it and have repurchased it.
Deep Steep Foot Stick in Candy Mint - lovely nourishing stick rich in hydrating oils and butters leaves my feet soft, moisturised and smelling like mint chocolate! I will definitely get another one!

Skincare, skincare samples

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - even though it's a big 400ml bottle I need a new one pretty much every month but I do like to remove my make up thoroughly before proceeding with cleansing balm. It's my favourite make up remover, gentle but very effective, and very affordable, love it! And another bottle has been living already on my bathroom shelf.
Thalgo Cocooning Cleansing Milk, sample 50ml - it was the first product from Thalgo I've tried and I really enjoy it, it was a lovely cleanser, leaves my face clean, calmed and soft. The only thing I don't like about it it's the scent, it smells like a baby powder and although I have two young sons I don't like this, for me smells like old lady's perfume, haha.
Orico London Transcend Marine Radiance Serum, sample 10ml - I wrote a review on this serum so won't go into much details here. Anyway I like it a lot and now it finished I can see my skin becoming dull again. I'd like to purchase the full size of this serum. Even though it was only sample it lasted me a month of using it every morning so definitely a little goes a long way.
Lancôme Visionnaire, sample 5ml - this serum claims  that after using it 'wrinkles appear visibly reduced, pores minimised and imperfections such as uneven skin tone appear corrected for a more even complexion'. My main skin concerns are large pores and uneven skin tone so I'm always a sucker for beauty products claiming to help with those. Lancôme is such a luxurious brand with many fantastic products that makes you want them just for the fact they're Lancôme. The serum itself feels lovely on the skin, it didn't cause any problems but as it was such a small sample I, obviously, didn't noticed any benefits but nevertheless enjoy a week with Lancôme:) I can't see myself purchasing a full size anytime soon as at £59 is way out of my budget.
REN Satin Perfection BB Cream, sample 3ml - this BB cream has a very light coverage and made my face kind of greasy so I didn't really enjoy it, it's a shame as I normally like REN products and was excited to try their BB cream but it's a NO for me.
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream, sample 3g - I like this eye cream a lot, it's not heavy or greasy but leaves the delicate skin feeling nourished and hydrated and I think it helped with reducing my dark under eye circles. I was lucky to receive another sample of this cream in the latest BBB Dream Box so I keep using it every day in evenings, this little sample lasted me 3 weeks.
Make up
Rimmel GlamEyes Day 2 Night Mascara - in this mascara there are two different ways to pull the brush out of the tube. When you use the pink 'volume' handle to remove the brush from the tube, more mascara stays on the brush. When you use the black 'length' handle to remove the brush from the tube, much less mascara remains on the same brush. This way it gives your lashes either more volume or length or both if you use it both ways. Well, I didn't like this mascara, it used to clamp my lashes when I used the 'volume' way or didn't give me enough definition when I used the 'length' way. I had to use one way after the other and for me it's just too much hassle and the final effect wasn't really spectacular. There are many better mascaras in my opinion.
Rimmel Eye Brow Pencil in Dark Brown - I had this pencil for ages and finally decided I can't sharpen it anymore, and it's time to buy a new one:) I like this brow pencil, it's just the right formula, not too hard nor soft and with a bit of wax, perfect to define the brows and fill them in. And the colour is good match for my brows.
So that is it, all my recent 'empties'. Have you tried any of these products?

    1. I've never tried Bioderma but, in my opinion, is overpriced for what it is and the Garnier one does the job perfectly for me. xx

  4. I love an empties post!! :)
Im also a big fan of the Garnier Micellar Water!! :)
Im currently on the lookout for a new eye cream, so interested to see you enjoyed the Benefit one.

    1. I like empties posts as well, as you'll find real opinions on products because people used them for a good amount of time. Thanks for stopping by!
