Betty Hula The Secret Wonder Oil

A few months ago I got this little bottle of The Secret Wonder Oil from Betty Hula in Love Me Beauty box. By then I didn't know anything about the product nor the brand. But quickly I learnt that Betty Hula is a UK brand offering handmade, natural facial and body products, free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Artificial Colours, suitable for vegetarians and not tested on animals.
The Secret Wonder Oil comes in a 10ml bottle with a rollerball for easy application and perfect to have it in a handbag.

On Betty Hula website you read:
"Apply to any dry or problem areas of skin. This gorgeous oil can help tackle signs of psoriasis, eczema, stretch marks, sun burn, wrinkles and pigmentation."
The ingredients are:
Grapeseed Oil - a powerful antioxidant important in the maintenance of collagen and elastin.
Apricot Kernel Oil - a gentle oil containing essential fatty acids and Vitamins A & E.
Avocado Oil - packed with vitamins and skin nutrients and high in sterolins, helpful in reducing the appearance of age spots and healing sun damage and scars.
Hemp Oil - a rich source of omega 3 & 6, beneficial for relieving inflamed skin.
Vitamin E - helps to protect skin from damage from UV and free radicals, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Rose Absolute - a beautifully fragranced oil with cooling and astringent properties.
Jojoba Oil - cleanses, moisturises and promotes skin healing.
The oil has a beautiful citrusy scent, is light on the skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue like you'd imagine oil would do.
After battling for months with my weak, brittle nails I decided to reach for the Wonder Oil thinking that I'm not losing anything trying this product which was unloved stashed in my beauty drawer. I stopped painting my nails and for 2 weeks I was applying The Secret Oil to my cuticles and nails gently massaging it. I was absolutely amazed seeing my nails getting stronger and healthier. They stopped peeling and breaking like they used to. They're still no perfect but in a much better condition then before the Wonder Oil therapy. I paint them now regularly but use the Oil every night on my cuticles and on my nails between manicures.
After such a good first experience with this Oil I read more about the ingredients and seeing such good things, I started using it on my face. I have a red dry, itchy patch on my forehead and also dark pigmentation spots on my forehead and cheeks from sun damage and from being pregnant. I've been applying a tiny bit of oil on those places and the dry patch has nearly disappeared and pigmentation is also becoming less visible.
My skin is oily so I don't feel comfortable applying the Oil all over my face but after using it on those specific areas I didn't noticed it broke me out nor made my skin oilier. I use it at night as it does take some time to sink in and it makes me a bit shiny.
Lately I've started using The Secret Wonder Oil under my eyes in the evenings to hydrate and nourish the area and it feels really lovely on my skin and leaves it really smooth. I use just the tiniest amount under my eyes being careful not get too close to the actual eye.
In my opinion it's a little miracle in a bottle and I'm so happy I got to discover it. I highly recommend to anyone having it in your beauty stash as it's good for so many things and also really affordable. You can get the 10ml rollerball bottle for £6.25 or a 50ml bottle for £13.99 on Betty Hula website. Personally I prefer the small bottle as it's so handy and you can have it always next to you.
Have you tried The Secret Wonder Oil?
