Trialling... some Eyeko products

Eyeko is a brand that has been around for some time and I've seen people talk about some of their products but, apart from their eye liner, I had not tried anything. So when their PR got in touch with me asking if I'd love to try some of their products I agreed without hesitation.
I've been trialling all these products for the past several weeks and I'm ready to share my thoughts on them.

Eyeko products

I see many bloggers absolutely loving stick eyeshadows but I've never been a massive fan of them, I just prefer powder eyeshadows. Nonetheless I was excited to try the Eyeko offering. I received three shades, Bronze, Charcoal and Quartz which can create a beautiful eye look on their own. They're very pigmented, soft and blend-able, once you blend them out they sheer out quite a bit but you can easily build up the intensity. Once they're set they stay on the eyes till I remove them, they're truly long-lasting and waterproof. I've experienced only a very minimal creasing after about 7-8 hours of wearing them on my eyes.
Even though I'm still powder eyeshadow girl though and through I like to use the Shadow Liners for a very quick eye look with a little bit of bronzer in the crease and the Bronze shade along my lash line blended out lightly. They also work well as a base to boost the intensity of shimmery powder eyeshadows.

I forgot to photograph but they have a little brush on the other end, hidden under the lid, so they're perfect 'on the go' as you can apply them and blend without the need to reach out for anything else.

Eyeko Waterproof Shadow Liners

I am not an expert when it comes to liquid eyeliners as I rarely wear them but I've tried enough of them to know a good from bad one. I have to say that the Eyeko offering leans towards to 'good' category, it's not the best I've used but it's also not bad at all. The nib is quite fine and precise, although I have used eye liners with skinnier nibs, it's very pigmented, applies without dragging the skin and it stays well on the eyes without smudging. But it's not waterproof so if your eyes tend to water easily then this eye liner won't stand a chance.

EYEKO Making Eyes 3-in-1 Makeup Brush

Now this is something quite unique on the market, 3-in-1 eye makeup brush, perfect to have it in your handbag for any emergencies or touch ups and ideal for traveling. Cleverly hidden in an elegant design there are three different brushes: shader, smudger/blender and liner brush, all very good quality and perfectly usable. Add a fluffy blending brush and that's basically all you need to create a complete eye look. How cool is that!?

Eyeko Lash Alert Mascara

Infused with Shea Butter to nourish, Arginine to repair, Biotinoyl Tripepetide to regenerate, Biotin to thicken and Caffeine to stimulate (not sure what's the reason to stimulate my lashes, I do prefer my Caffeine intake in the form of cup of coffee, LOL!) this new mascara from Eyeko, with a dose of fibres, claims to do it all: add volume, length and curl while caring for the lashes.
I've not used the mascara for long enough to see if it really helps my lashes to look better in the long term but it's always good to know the product contains ingredients that help to improve the look of our lashes. What I can say is that the mascara certainly adds length and a bit of volume to my lashes and keep the curl all day. It stays on my eyes throughout the day without smudging or flaking and the fibres aren't annoying like they were in some old mascaras (you know the ones that you ended up with fibres in your eyes and on your cheeks). I really like the shape of the wand as it's small enough to grab all my lashes without transferring the mascara all over my lids. Overall I really enjoy using this mascara!

Brow Gel*, £18

Eyeko Brow Gel

Brow gel is a product I use every single day, alongside brow pencil, as my brows need all the help they can get, haha! Unfortunately I am not a fan of this one. Although the brush is nice and small and the gel lightly tinted I find the formula quite wet and too glossy for my liking, it leaves my very few brows sticked together and shiny, not a good look, LOL! But it does hold the hair very well throughout the day.
I tried to remove the excess product from the brush before using it on my brows and it does work better that way but it's an additional faff I'm not happy to be doing in the mornings and also such a waste of product.
I think if you have quite thick and a bit bushier brows then you would love this but for me it doesn't work.

Have you tried any Eyeko products?
