Faking that sun-kissed look, my favourite bronzers for Summer

I can't believe I didn't use bronzers up until 3, 4 years ago, basically when I discovered beauty blogs, yet now I can't do my makeup without reaching for one.
They transform my makeup, from looking flat and pasty to that lovely sun-kissed look, within seconds. I rarely contour my face but I always bronze it up when I do my makeup. A bit of bronzer adds some dimension to the face, healthy looking glow and some colour.
I have many bronzers in my stash, some of them I like to use in Winter, some of them are great all year round and some are perfect for Summer to help me create that bronzed, glow-y complexion like I would just come back from exotic holidays :)
And today I want to share with you my current favourites.

Best bronzers for Summer, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, Too Faced Sun Bunny

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer*, £25
Let's start with one that I've been a fan of for almost 3 years, I first got the Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer in a Christmas palette from Too Faced and have used it a lot. I'm so happy to have it in a compact though as it's just easier to reach for it.
Firstly I love the cute packaging but we all know that's what the brand is known for. Then the smell, every time I open the compact I'm greeted with a delicious scent of chocolate, it's not overpowering and it doesn't linger so for those of you sensitive to scents it shouldn't be a major problem. But the most important is the formula, beautifully smooth and silky powder, very easy to blend which lasts on my skin all day (10-12 hrs) without fading or getting patchy. Milk Chocolate Soleil is a light brown shade with neutral undertones and matte finish and it works equally well as a contouring powder for my complexion and a bronzer. Perfect all year round.

Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer*, £25
The newest addition to my collection is this pretty duo of bronzers which contains a very subtle shimmer to add that beautiful glow to the skin. Both shades are more on the warmer side of medium brown and perfect for a sun-kissed look. I swirl my brush in both shades and lightly dust the tops of my cheeks, forehead, bridge of a nose (everywhere where naturally the tan develops the faster) to create the look of a tanned face. The formula is as smooth and silky as the Chocolate Soleil, easy to blend and it lasts well throughout the day on my skin.

No7 Bronzer in shade Caramel, £12.50
Beautiful warm toned brown shade with matte finish which is perfect to add a bit of dimension and some colour to my face. It blends effortlessly and it lasts very well throughout the day.
And how pretty is the packaging?! It looks like a high end product to me :)

I have talked about this palette in another post but had to include it here as these bronzers are beautiful. There are three shades to choose from but I like to swirl my brush in all of them for that very warm, tanned look. The formula of these is really good, they blend effortlessly, stay on all day and have  a satin finish which adds a natural looking luminosity to the skin. One warning though, these bronzers are very pigmented so a really light hand is needed when applying them.

The most expensive of them all, I have it in a palette so there's much less product then in a single compact. I've not used this bronzer a lot this year but last Summer I was totally obsessed with it. It adds beautiful glow to the skin without being shimmery and makes me look like I've just come back from sunny holidays. The formula is amazing, silky soft, super easy to blend and long lasting on the skin.

What are your favourite bronzers? Do you prefer to contour or bronze up your face?
