Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy Collection - the perfect drink for your thirsty skin

Perricone MD is a luxurious skincare brand, with also a small makeup range in their offer (their No Foundation Foundation is one of my favourite light coverage with high SPF base products) which I've had the pleasure to discover last year and try their OVM Day Treatment.
Recently I was kindly sent to review their newest range of products, the H2 Elemental Energy Collection. I've been using all the products for the last month and I'm ready to report on how I got on with them.

PerriconeMD H2 Elemental Energy range

All the products from this new range contain H2 Energy Complex™, stable form of Hydrogen that can be incorporated in different skincare formulas, which rapidly penetrates the surface layers of the skin with a boost of hydrating energy to help provide immediate and long-lasting hydration. The range was designed to help counteract the look and feel of very dry, stressed skin by providing deep moisture and optimizing skin’s water balance.

Over time damage to the skin leads to slowing down of cell energy and loss of moisture. It can be extremely difficult to provide skin with the hydration it needs to look and feel healthy if this natural change is made worse by internal or external factors such as stress or air travel.
Switch on your skin’s natural cellular energy with Perricone MD’s proprietary H2 Energy Complex™ to experience visible rejuvenation, advanced hydration and radiant-looking skin.
The moment I received the products I decided to switch my skincare routine and use them twice daily, alongside my usual cleansers and tonners. My skin was feeling very dehydrated at that time and I was in desperate need for some little miracles so I eagerly dived in into those beautifully packaged products.
How gorgeous does the range look in those metal-like containers?! Modern, luxurious and promising the best hydration the nature and science can offer :)

De-Puffing Eye Gel*, 15ml, £60
Ingredients:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycereth-26, Glycerin, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Sodium Potassium Aluminum Silicate, Methyl Gluceth-20, Phosphatidycholine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Borohydride, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Dunaliella Salina Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Ectoin, Adenosine, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Panthenol, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Cyclohexasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Olivate, Betaine, Dimethicone, Hydroxyacetophenone, Tromethamine, Sorbitan Olivate, Carbomer, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Saccharomyces/Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Ferment Extract, Disodium EDTA, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Saccharomyces/Imperata Cylindrica Root Ferment Extract, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Silica, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

Very lightweight gel-like cream feels very soothing on the skin. I don't suffer with much puffiness around my eyes so I can't comment how effective it is at reducing it but what I can say is that it's deeply hydrating, it leaves my skin very soft and smooth, works perfectly well under makeup, my concealer doesn't crease as much as before and my fine lines are diminished.
The whole pump is way too much for both eyes, in my opinion, so I try to pump only half the amount and I can see this eye cream lasting me a good few months.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Methyl Gluceth-20, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Betaine, Ectoin, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Hydroxide, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Acrylatesa/Inyl Isodecanoate Crosspolymer, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Lactobacillus Ferment, Allantoin, Di Potassi Um Glycyrrhizate, Phosphatidylcholine, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Phenoxyethanol, Saccharide Isomerate, Sea Whip Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Sodium Borohydride.

Very watery, clear formula that absorbs into the skin almost instantly making it feel soothed and like it had a drink of water. The Booster Serum is not enough on its own but makes the perfect first step before applying moisturiser. I use 2 pumps for my face and neck and although I still have some left after using it twice daily for the last 4 weeks I fear it will finish off soon as the container does feel significantly lighter, unfortunately it's not see through so I can't be completely sure how much of it is left.

Ingredients:
Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Porphyridium Polysaccharide, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Arachidyl Alcohol, Sodium Polyacrylate Starch, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Phosphatidylcholine, PCA, Sodium Borohydride, Arginine, Dimethyl MEA, Aspartic Acid, Arachidyl Glucoside, Carbomer, Cetearyl Glucoside, Pullulan, Disodium EDTA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol.

This is probably the most lightweight moisturiser I've ever tried, it does feel like a cloud, it's super airy and it sinks into the skin in seconds providing immediate hydration. It works amazingly well under makeup, it leaves my skin smoothed and soothed. The only negative I have is that I wish the packaging was airtight, just like with the other products in the range, it's always easier to keep the product germ free and the active ingredients more stable.

This is such a fun face mask to use, it dispenses as a gel but once applied to the skin it starts to foam. The tiny bubbles tingle the skin and the first time I used it I didn't think I would manage to keep it on for the recommended 5-10 minutes as I just wanted to scratch my entire face, LOL!
But I think my skin got used to the sensation as it doesn't bother me as much anymore.
If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen me using this face mask in one of my InstaStories, I looked as if I had a shaving cream all over my face :)

The face mask does add some hydration to my skin but what I like it the most for is, that it makes it look visibly firmer and my pores tighter (anyone lese as obsessed with their pores as me??, haha!), and it's just the perfect little pamper before applying my makeup when I want it to look more flawless. I've used the mask about 6 times over the last 4 weeks and there's still plenty of it left so that's good.

My overall thoughts on the Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy range:

Using all the products twice daily for the last 4 weeks made a big difference to my skin, it's much more hydrated, it feels softer and looks plumper. For the first time ever it's so much more balanced, I don't get oily throughout the day as I used to and I can't stop thinking that these products helped with that. At the same time my skin doesn't feel dry or uncomfortable and my foundations apply so much better, something I struggled with before I started using the range.
The first few days of using these products I needed to apply one of my facial oils (usually the Antipodes Divine Oil) on top of the moisturiser at night time as I felt like the Booster Serum and Hydrating Cloud Cream weren't enough and my skin still felt tight and in need for something richer. But after about a week I've noticed that I can easily skip the facial oil as my skin feels completely comfortable, it was like it finally got the hydration it needed.

I am really pleased with how well the whole range is working for my skin and I'm already dreading the moment these products finish as I will probably need to repurchase them. And they're not exactly cheap.
Thankfully, Perricone MD has in their offer Ultimate Hydration Starter Kit (£65) which contains travel sizes (they're actually half of the full size products) of the serum, moisturiser and eye gel which is perfect to try out the range or just stock up on minis.
