As many of you probably know October is a Breast Cancer Awareness Month and today I'm coming to you with a very exciting post which is a collaboration with 3 lovely ladies, Pam (Pam Scalfi), Shireen (Reflection Of Sanity), and Honia (Lovely Attitude, xoxo) in order to raise awareness amongst women while having fun wearing pink. Me and Shireen will share with you some pink makeup looks and Pam and Honia will show us some pretty pink outfits.
Breast cancer affects hundreds of thousands of women every year, many of whom dies because of it, yet it's one of the cancers that can be usually curable when detected very early. So today I want to remind every single one of you of the importance of breast self examination. Let's take control and responsibility of our own health, ladies!
I want to take this opportunity to mention a fabulous organisation 'Wear It Pink' which raises every year around £2 million during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
How? It’s simple – they ask you to wear something pink and donate whatever you can. They use the raised money to fund world-class breast cancer researchers across the UK and Ireland. They’re working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.
If you'd love to join, today, the 21st October, is the #wearitpink day so wear something pink and donate as little or as much as you can to the Breast Cancer charity.
(Just for your information, I'm not sponsored by anyone, I just think it's a very important cause and one I like to support).
So without further ado let's get to the pink makeup look :)
Regular readers of my blog would know that I love creating colourful makeup looks so I loved the idea of coming up with a pink one. And as soon as I sat down at my vanity I knew I would use the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon palette (review) simply, because it's pink and it has some pretty pink shades :)
Foundation: L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte
Concealer: Bourjois Blur The Lines
Setting powder: Bourjois Healthy Balance
Highlighter: Makeup Revolution Goddess Of Love Baked Highlighter
Eyshadows: Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon palette, Cotton Candy and Totally Fetch on the lid, Bordeaux and Almond Truffle in the crease and on the lower lash line, Satin Sheets in the inner corner and on the centre of the lid.

False Lashes: Eylure Vegas Nay Classic Charm*, so delicate, girly and super lightweight, available on falseeyeslashes.co.uk
Lip liner: Essence Lip Liner in Cute Pink, one of the best lip liners and so cheap!
And this is the finished look :)
What do you think of this pink makeup look? Is it something you'd wear not only for the 'Wear It Pink' campaign?
