If you read my recent post on some new makeup I've been trialling then you know I've been sent the new Sleek 'Goodnight Sweetheart' palette which was such a lovely surprise, especially as I was eyeing up that palette since I saw it being released but have been trying to be sensible with my beauty purchases. So as soon as I opened the package I couldn't wait to create some looks with it.
And today I want to share with you this soft, romantic eye look which is super easy to re-create and perfect for many occasions. You can make it easily a daytime look by skipping the false lashes or glam it up a bit by pairing it with a statement lipstick, deep berry would look super pretty.
Primer: Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot, I'm trying to finish it off as I got distracted with some other new primers, but this is still one of my favourite for extending the wear time of my makeup.
Foundation: Milani Conceal + Perfect, shade Medium Beige, I'm so impressed with this foundation! (check my review)
Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me, shade 10
Powder: Bourjois Healthy Balance, shade 52 Vanilla
Bronzer/Contour: bronzer from the Rimmel Sculpting Palette by Kate*, it's a quite light shade but after building it up a bit it works for me as a very subtle bronze/contour.
Blush: Benefit Rockateur
Highlighter: highlighting shade form the Rimmel Sculpting Palette by Kate*, it's quite subtle but I like that it adds more of a radiance and luminosity rather then strong metallic sheen.
Primer: concealer set with powder
Eyeshadows: Sleek Goodnight Sweetheart palette*
Eye pencil: Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Espresso
Mascara: Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious, still going strong after about 3 months of using it and it's actually at its best right now.
False lashes: Ardell Demi Wispies
Brows: NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade in Brunette
I attempted to create an ombre effect on my lips by using Essence Lip Liner in shade Red Blush to line and fill in my lips and then I applied Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink Fling* to the centre of my lips and blended it out with a lip brush towards the corners.
And this is the finished look :)
I'd love to know your thoughts on this makeup look, so please, share them in the comments :)
