Even though Summer is somehow missing UK I feel pretty Summery (could be still the effect of my holidays in Spain last month) and considering we're already in July I decided to create another makeup look that incorporates peach and coral shades which are my favourites for this time of year.
If you're not fan of these colours you might like better my green eye makeup look which I shared last week :)
Warm tones are favourites for many of us throughout the whole year but there's something about Summer that we love them even more. Maybe it's the tan we're more likely to get, the thoughts of warm, long, balmy evenings and beautiful sunsets or holidays in hot climates that we reach more frequently for oranges, corals, peaches and rich bronzes to reflect the Summer colours.
Ok, enough blabbing, let's get to the tutorial :)
Primer - Hylamide HA Blur (review)
Foundation - Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless in shade 220, still absolutely enjoying it!
Concealer - Seventeen Cosmetics WOW! Skin Concealer in Fair, my current favourite (review).
Powder - to set all the base products I dusted lightly Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in shade Dim Light all over my face and shade Diffused Light under my eyes.
Bronzer - I didn't do any contouring, just applied some Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer across my forehead, temples and cheeks.
Highlighter - ColourPop highlighter in Dream Catcher, this mousse formula gives such a beautiful sheen to the skin and the shade is very unique, light gold with peachy duo-chrome effect.
Blush - ColourPop blush in Holiday, coral-y pink which gives a fresh, dewy finish to the skin.
Primer - I used concealer to prime my lids.
Eyeshadows - Morphe Brushes 35O palette, after months of gathering dust I decided to start using this super hyped palette again which is full of beautiful warm shades, if this palette doesn't scream Summer then I don't know what is :)
Eye liner - Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper.
Eye pencil - Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Espresso.
Mascara - Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious.
False lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies.
Brows - Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizz in Soft Brown.
Because the Morphe 35O palette doesn't have shade names I numbered those I used in this tutorial in order of how I used them.
For my lips I used Zoeva Luxe Cream Lipstick in shade Melting Kisses which is a warm peach with coral undertones.
And that's the finished look :)
How's the weather where you are? Are you embracing warm tones in your makeup during Summer?
