Last week I asked if you have any makeup suggestions or requests and one of my blogging friends Siobhan ( blogging at Beautylymin) mentioned that she would love to see makeup look using Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, so during my weekend 'play and makeup' session I grabbed that palette and created this neutral, yet a bit glamorous eye look. I used Black Forest Truffle, an eyeshadow that I rarely reach for it as it's quite glittery and difficult to work with but with a sticky base it's really pretty and definitely worth the extra effort. I paired the eyes with deep raspberry lips but they would look also very pretty with nude or even red lips.
Primer - Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Primer
Foundation - L'Oreal True Match in shade Golden Beige
Concealer - Seventeen WOW! Skin concealer in fair (check my review)
Powder - to set my foundation and concealer I used a light dusting of Bourjois Healthy Balance powder in shade 53
Bronzer, contour - to bronze up my skin I used Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze and to contour I reached for Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Blush - Too Faced Love Flush Long Lasting Blush in Baby Love
Highlighter - The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
Primer - Seventeen Wow! Skin Concealer
Eyeshadows - Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer
Eye pencil - Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Espresso
Mascara - L'Oreal Lash Sensational Luscious
False Lashes - Eylure Texture Lashes No157
Brows - NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in Brunette
For my lips I went for ColourPop Ultra Satin Lips in Lyin' King, beautiful deep raspberry shade. The formula of this liquid lipstick is excellent, super pigmented, it applies smoothly, it doesn't settle in lines, it's not drying and it lasts absolutely ages even with drinking and eating.
And that's the finished look :)
If you have the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette which shades are your favourite?
Let me know if you have any other suggestions for my future makeup looks.
