Makeup tutorial: blues & oranges, fun Summer look

If you've been a reader of my blog for a while you know that I love experimenting with colourful makeup and reach for bright, bold colours not only for my lips but also eyes very often. The look I want to share with you today had been on my mind for some time, I loved the idea of pairing deep blue with orange and finally last week I let my creative juices flow and came up with this fun, Summer makeup look, perfect for anyone who enjoys wearing bright colours. I loved it and surprisingly felt very comfortable with the orange lipstick on.
If you prefer more toned down makeup you might like to have a look at the  rose gold eye look I posted last week which is definitely much more wearable :)

Face
Primer - Hylamide HA Blur, still loving it, the best product I've tried at blurring my pores without the greasy feeling of silicon heavy primers.
Foundation - as my tan fades I'm reaching again for my older foundations and I'm proud to announce that I have finished my beloved Dior Star foundation in shade Light Beige, hallelujah! Only about 15 other foundations to go, haha!
Concealer - Seventeen WOW! Skin concealer in Fair, I can't stop using it, it's really good!
Powder - to set my concealer and foundation I used a mix of Dim and Diffused Light powders from the Hourglass palette.
Bronzer - Hourglass Luminous Bronze in Light, I'm absolutely obsessed with this bronzer, it adds beautiful sun-kissed look to my face with subtle glow and it blends seamlessly.
Blush/highlighter - considering the bright eyes and lips I wanted my cheeks to be very subtle, I used Benefit Coralista blush which is a beautiful peachy coral with delicate golden shimmer.

Eyes
Primer - thin layer of concealer set with matte white eyeshadow.
Eyeshadows - Makeup Geek: White Lies, Poppy, Morocco, Center Stage and Urban Decay Vice 4 palette shade Flame.
Eye pencils - Lord & Berry Black Eye Kohl, Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Pencil in Espresso.
Eye liner - to line the upper lash line I used Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper.
Mascara - L'Oreal Lash Sensational Luscious.
False Lashes - Eylure Definition No110.
Brows - NYX Tame & Frame Tinted Brow Pomade in Brunette + Benefit Ready, Set, Brow Clear Brow Gel.

Lips
I wanted my lips to match the shade of my crease and used NYX Matte Lipstick in Indie Flick, beautiful, bold orange with a hint of red. I built up the shade to be a statement colour but you could apply the lipstick by dabbing your lips with a finger for a sheerer, stain-like look.

And this the finished look :)
