'So Quiche', purple & olive eye makeup look

Another Friday, another makeup look on my blog :) This time I want to share with you look I created using one of the ColourPop eyeshadows (check my ColourPop haul) called So Quiche. It's a beautiful light khaki with lots of purple sparkles which make the shade multi-dimensional and very unique. I wanted to accentuate the purple tones in it so I paired it with purple matte eyeshadow and I really liked the finished look.
Let me show you how I did it.

Makeup products to create purple eye makeup look

Face
Foundation - No7 Beautifully Matte foundation in shade Deep Ivory, I really like this foundation, it gives a good coverage and it lasts very well on my combination face even without using a primer underneath.
Concealers - Pixi Corrector and Bourjois Radiance Reveal in Light, I love this duo together for when I want flawless finish and higher coverage.
Powder - to set my base in place I used the RCMA No Colour Powder but to add luminosity to my skin I dusted Hourglass Dim and Diffused Light powders in the centre of my face.
Bronzer - Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light to warm up my complexion and Inglot HD Contouring Powder #508 to lightly contour my cheeks.
Blush - a mix of Hourglass Mood Exposure and Luminous Flush.
Highlighter - Hourglass Irridescent Light on the top of my cheeks.

Eyes
Primer - Freedom Makeup Eye Primer.
Eyeshadows - ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadow in shade So Quiche and Makeup Geek eyeshadows.
Eye pencil - NYX Wonder Pencil in Light.
Mascara - L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Feline.
False Lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies.
Brows - Master Brow Pro Palette in Soft Brown.

Eyshadows to create purple eye makeup look

Purple eye makeup tutorial

1 - after priming my eye lids and applying Makeup Geek (MUG) eyeshadow in White Lies (matte white) all over the lid and up to the brow, I dusted MUG shade Cupcake (light dusty rose) in my crease and above as my transition shade.
2 - using small tapered blending brush I applied MUG Curfew (matte medium purple) in the outer corner and outer crease and blended it inwards, to blur the outer edges I used the brush with whatever was left on it after applying Cupcake and blended them out.
3 - I applied ColourPop eyeshadow So Quiche on the lid using my finger tip and made sure the shade transitioned smoothly into the purple.
4 - I lined my upper lashes with matte black eyeshadow MUG Corrupt, applied MUG Cupcake on my lower lid and define lower lash line with MUG Curfew.
5 - I applied ColourPop So Quiche in the inner part of my lower lid, MUG Shimma Shimma in the inner corner and NYX nude pencil on my water line. I finished off the eye look with mascara and false lashes and filling in my brows.

Lips
As the eyes were very sparkly and quite bold I wanted to keep my lips soft and kind of neutral but with some purple/mauve tones so I used ColourPop Lippie Stix in shade Contempo.

And that's the finished look :)

It was very difficult to photograph this eye look the way it would to the eyeshadow its justice, the purple sparkle didn't want to show up on the camera. But in person it looked so much prettier!
I hope you like this look and maybe it will inspire you to create something similar :)

Have a great weekend all!
