Makeup look #26 Pink Champagne feat. ABH Shadow Couture palette

Can you believe it's the last day of July?? I swear, the older I get, the time goes faster! We're more then half way through the year, with the recent weather in UK it feels like Autumn is around the corner and there are already, all over social media, sneak peaks of Christmas collections from different brands!
Anyway, I'm here today to share with you another makeup look, this time using the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture | World Traveler palette which I reviewed couple of days ago. Pink Champagne is my favourite shade from the palette, so, of course I had to play with it and created this girly, pink look, perfect for any occasion when you want to look a bit more glamorous but still soft and romantic.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture | World Traveler palette - review and swatches

Eyeshadow palettes are my biggest weakness when it comes to makeup, I love to collect them and even though I have enough eyeshadows to last me a lifetime and some more, there's nothing stopping me from purchasing new ones. If I could I would probably buy most of the palettes available on the market, thankfully I can't afford this kind of craziness, but every now and then (quite often to be honest) I find a palette that I just need to have. As soon as I saw the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture World Traveler palette popping on Instagram I fall in love with it. I have already one palette from ABH (Tamanna palette-review) and the quality is great so I hoped the new one will be just as good. I was even planning to order it straight from the ABH website but waited and that was a good move because, even though I missed it when it was available on Cult Beauty, I found it on Beauty Bay for £23 with free delivery.

My new skincare routine with Ole Henriksen - first impressions

OLE HENRIKSEN is a skincare brand I have heard many great things about but only used one of their products, the Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil which I loved and reviewed some time before. I read lots of information about the brand and its creator, Ole Henriksen and was very keen on trying some other products. Couple of months ago I was contacted by the Ole Henriksen Team asking if I want to take part in their #RealUsersRealResults campaign and test and review some of their products specifically chosen for me, including the 3 Little Wonders set. I couldn't have said 'yes' quickly enough :)

Makeup look #25 Summery bronze eyes and red lips

Welcome to another Friday makeup look post! Today I want to share with you look which I love wearing all year round and only slightly change the shade of my lipstick or the intensity of the eye makeup depending on the season or occasion. Bronze golden eyes and red lips is such a classic look which can be easily toned down for everyday or glammed up for a night out. As long as you find the perfect red lipstick for yourself in which you feel comfortable, this look can be worn by anyone, at any age.

De-clutter with me: makeup primers

One day I was organising my makeup drawer and decided that de-cluttering process is in order. In the last two years, since joining the blogging world, my makeup collection has grown significantly. And while I don't own a huge amount of products, I definitely have way more then an average woman and that's ok, considering it's my hobby and I'm not planning to stop exploring and discovering new products. But there are so many products that I don't get on well with, some I stopped using because new came along or they're too old but I keep hoarding them. So the time has come do de-clutter my collection.
I'm starting with makeup primers as I do own way too many. I have become kind of obsessed with finding the perfect primer that will leave my skin poreless and make my makeup last all day.

Makeup look #24 Purple haze

If you've been around here for a while you know that I love experimenting with colourful eye makeup and I'm not scared to wear it outside the house. But one colour that I have found very wearable and often reach for it, even during the day, is purple and all its variation. And today I'm sharing with you pretty purple eye makeup created with the Freedom Makeup 'Dreamcatcher' palette which I reviewed recently.

My Summer handbag beauty essentials

Woman's handbag is usually like a treasure chest with so many necessary, useful and the 'I don't know what is it doing here' items. And once you're a mummy there are even more unexpected things in your bag, from wipes, nappies to random toys. I swear, sometimes my handbag is so heavy like I would be going for a weekend away, and that's just quite normal occurrence on every day basis.
Anyway, today I wanted to show you what beauty products I'm always carrying in my handbag, no matter what, with some seasonal extras.

Whiter teeth with Doll White whitening strips

Having pearly white teeth is something very desirable for most of us, I think. Unfortunately not all of us are lucky to have sparkly whites due to the natural colour of the bone or because of our diet. My natural teeth are quite white but being a lover of coffee and red wine which, we all know, tend to stain our teeth, led to them being not so pearly. I have a good oral hygiene and use whitening toothpaste on everyday basis but that is not enough to bring my teeth to their formal glory.
So when I had the opportunity to try 14 Day Whitening Strips by Doll White (£19.99) I didn't hesitate and started using it straight away.

Makeup look #23 Easy, dark green smokey eyes

Today I want to share with you a simple smokey eyes makeup look which I created with the gorgeous KIKO Water Eyeshadow in the shade #213 Dark Slate Green (review). As soon as I took pictures of my face after I'd done the makeup I realised that this is the kind of makeup that looks so much better in person then on the pictures, as the camera didn't do any justice of how beautifully dimensional sparkle that eyshadow offers. But I hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - review

A couple of months ago while shopping with the girls in another town I took advantage of being able to go to the NARS counter and, after being matched up to the correct shade, I took the plunge and bought the latest All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade Deauville (£32). It was a bit of a risk as the foundation didn't look good on my skin when the counter lady applied it on me. But my skin was in a bad phase at that moment, very dehydrated, with dry patches so I thought that once my skin gets a bit better and while using my beloved Beauty Blender instead of the flat foundation brush, which I hate, I should get better results. So I handed out my money and came back home hoping for the best :)

The Perfect Palette tag

Eyeshadow palettes are my biggest weakness and obsession in makeup, I absolutely adore them and can spend hours looking through them and swatching the eyeshadows to my heart content. So when the lovely Siobhan from Beautylymin tagged me to do the Perfect Palette Tag post I knew I will certainly join her.
I have lots of palette, so to narrow them down and choose favourites was incredibly difficult. But I did try my best and picked some of the best palettes from my collection, so without further ado let's get to the tag.

Summery Peach makeup look, collab with Rachel

Today I have a very exciting post for you, a makeup collaboration with the gorgeous Rachel from Rachel Shuchat Makeup! I've been following her blog for a few months and I love her makeup looks and step by step tutorials, so when she emailed me a few weeks ago, asking if I want to collaborate with her, I said 'yes' without hesitation. We agreed on a Summer Peach makeup look and here we are, face to face, showing you two different looks, both of them focusing on Summer-y peach colours.

My favourite Summer coral lipsticks

With Summer well and truly upon us I decided to share with you my most loved coral lipsticks. There is something about coral shade that screams Summer to me and I've been a bit obsessed with this colour lately. I love my Summer pinks and reds but I can wear them all year round really while corals look the best in the warm weather with sunkissed skin, am I right? :) So here are my top 5 coral lipsticks, varying from quite expensive to very affordable.
