Another Friday (yey to Friday!) and another makeup look on my blog. It's a special one today as it's a collaboration with my friend Dorota from iDorottka, whom I met through Instagram and instantly connected with her bubbly personality and obsession with eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks :) We both recently bought the Urban Decay Vice 4 palettes (check my review) and decided to create some looks using it and share them with you. Dorota has created more day appropriate look and I did an evening/Christmas party one because you know, I like bold eye makeup :)
Primer - Jane Iredale Smooth Affair primer
Foundation - Bourjois Air Matt in Light Beige
Concealer - Maybelline The Eye Eraser in Light
Powder - to set under eye concealer I used Inglot HD powder and for the rest of my face Bourjois Healthy Balance in Light Beige
Brows - Seventeen brow pencil, I hardly can use it anymore as it's so tiny but I love the shade and the formula so much, I wish they were selling it not just as a part of the Brow Kit, L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper.
Primer - Freedom Makeup Pro Eye Primer, fantastic budget option, in my opinion as good as the Urban Decay one.
Eyeshadows - Urban Decay Vice 4 palette.
Eye pencil - Jelly Ping Pong in Bronze to line my waterline, it's not the best as it doesn't stay on my very watery waterline but that's the only brown pencil I have, definitely need to get something better.
Mascara - Too Faced Better Then Sex mascara.
False Lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies.
When I thought about this makeup look I knew I wanted to incorporate some of those bold shades and Grasshoper definitely stood out for me because not only is beautiful but also makes me think of Christmas. We're so close to this Magical Day and will be attending Christmas parties, dinners soon and this makeup look screams Christmas to me :)
1 - After priming my eye lids I applied shade Framed in my crease and up to the brows as a highlight and transition shade.
2 - Very lightly I defined the crease and slightly above with Bitter.
3 - I applied Grasshoper in the centre of my lid leaving the very inner and outer corners free.
4 - Using Delete I deepened my outer corner and crease and applied it on my lower lash line.
5 - I applied Flame in my inner corners.
6 - Using shade Delete mixed with a bit of Inglot Duraline I lined my upper lashes and created a small wing.
7 - I applied some mascara and added false lashes.
To finish off my makeup I lightly contoured with my Inglot HD Contouring Powder, highlighted the tops of my cheek bones with The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer and applied Mademoiselle blush from one of the Too Faced Le Grand Chateau palettes (review).
For my lips I used my newest purchase, the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the shade Beso which is a beautiful Christmas-y red.
And that's the finished look :)
Let me know what do you think of my makeup look, is it something you would wear? And don't forget to check Dorota's beautiful day time look using the Vice 4 palette.
Have a fabulous weekend all!
