If you've been a follower of my blog for some time you know that I love dramatic makeup, experimenting with different colours, etc. but the truth is that most of the time I do wear pretty neutral looks as they're just easier and quicker to create and more appropriate for my daily activities. Today I want to share with you a makeup look that I have been obsessed with since I got the Stila 'Trust in Love' palette (review) as I can't get over the shade Golden Topaz which is just stunning! This makeup requires more then 10 minutes of your time, so maybe not for those 'I hit the snooze button too many times' mornings but it's still easy and quick to do and perfect to wear during the day or night.
Primer - Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant Perfecting Power Primer (review)
Foundation - Bourjois Air Mat in shade 03 Light Beige
Concealer - Maybelline Anti-Age the Eraser Eye in Light
Powder - Bourjois Healthy Balance in shade 53 Light Beige
Bronzer - Benefit Hoola
Blush - Benefit Coralista mixed with Rocakteur
Highlighter - Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick in Gold Bronze (only the two lightest shades mixed together)
Brows - Seventeen brow pencil from the Brow's That kit
Eyeshadows - Stila Trust in Love palette
Eyeliner - Zoeva Cat Eye Pen in black
Eye pencil - Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof pencil in Nude
Mascara - Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara
False lashes - Ardell Demi Wispies
I wanted to pair the eye look with a nude lip to make it more casual and day/work appropriate and used the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate nr 08 which is one of my all time favourite nude lipsticks, you can see it's almost finished (I've had it only for a year), I'm sure I will repurchase it, it's good that it's so affordable! If you wanted more dramatic look you could go for a burgundy, wine red lips and it would also look fabulous!
And this is my finished look :)
What do you think of this makeup look? Do you like creating 'halo' effect eye makeup? What colour would you choose for your lips to pair them with this eye look?
Have a lovely weekend!
