Today I'm back with an Autumnal makeup look as the season is well and truly upon us and I just love deep red, burgundy and berry tones on my eyes and lips. To create the eye makeup I used the latest Makeup Revolution palette New-Trals vs Neutrals* (review) which is just perfect for this time of the year, and for my lips - deep red shade. The overall look is quite glamorous and evening appropriate but could be easily toned down by switching to a nude lipstick and leaving out the winged eye liner.
Primer: L'Oreal Revitalift Magic Blur - this is great at smoothing my skin and blurring pores and imperfection but I haven't noticed that it extends the wear time of my foundation and definitely doesn't control oil production.
Foundation: Inglot HD Perfect Coverup in the shade 74, really love the finish of this foundation, it lasts well but doesn't control oil production too much so definitely it's not the best for oily skin.
Concealer: Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eye Eraser in Light, really like it to brighten the under eye area but it's not the best at concealing dark circles.
Powder: to set under eye concealer I used the lightest shade from the Makeup Revolution Contour palette and for the rest of my face the L'Oreal True Match Powder in shade W1.
Bronzer, Highlighter: I used Makeup Revolution Contour palette to bronze and contour lightly my face and mixed both highlighters to add glow to the tops of my cheek bones.
Blush: Freedom Makeup Blush in shade Rare, beautiful orange coral which I thought would go nicely with whole look.
Eyeshadows: Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs Neutrals palette
Eye liner: L'Oreal Super Line Perfect Slim in Black
Mascara: Maybelline Lash Sensational
False lashes: Ardell Demi Wispies
Brows: Inglot Brow Pomade in the shade 16
Lip liner: Maybelline Color Sensational in the shade Midnight Plum, to help the lipstick stay on longer and add a bit of berry tones to it.
Lipstick: Makeup Revolution Lipstick in Reckless.
And this is the finished look :)
As usual, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the makeup look I created. Let me know if you like Autumnal trends in your makeup and what colours are your 'go to' at this time of the year.
