May beauty favourites

I hadn't posted a beauty favourites for a while so this month I decided to share with you products which really stood out to me. I bought many things in the last few weeks and while I enjoy using and testing everything, these few products were the ones that I reached for over others, so let's jump to it.

I have many fragrances but Chloe is the latest addition to my collection and I'm loving it. It's a floral scent but quite sophisticated and grown up, makes me feel feminine, romantic but also classy and sexy. It contains notes of freesia, peony, magnolia, rose, amber and cedar. For me, it's a perfect scent for this time of the year.
As an eyeshadow palette addict I have lot of them but one that was being used more then others this month was the Zoeva Retro Future palette (review). Of course I needed some other more neutral eyeshadows to complete the eye look but shades Rose Gold and Timetravel-pale lilac I used many times and I'm obsessed with them.
Another makeup items that have been used nearly every day were the Clinique Nude Pop lipstick (review), perfect everyday shade, and Sephora blush in Romantic Rose which is a peach-y pink colour, perfect for any makeup look and absolutely beautiful for this time of the year.
I've been also enjoying a lot the new liquid highlighter by MUA in the shade Oyster. I like to mix it with my foundation for a subtle 'glow from within' look or just apply it on the top of my cheeks for that dewy look. This highlighter is similar to the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector but the sparkles are a bit bigger and while it still looks beautiful and subtle on the skin is not as gorgeous as the Becca one, but for the price it's a perfect alternative.

As for the skincare I haven't been experimenting much with different product as my skin hasn't been the best lately, really dry with flaky patches but still slightly oily in the T-zone. So I've been trying to keep things simple and stick to products which are very hydrating and nourishing. One of them is the Origins Drink Up - Intensive Overnight Mask, this is, hands down, the best hydrating mask I've tried, it really makes a difference to my skin. I apply a thin layer to my face after cleansing it in the evening, leave it overnight and in the morning my skin is so much more hydrated, supple and generally in better condition. I've been using it regularly 2 times a week and finally my skin has started to look much better.
Another skincare product that I've been really loving lately is the Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream which, again, helps my skin to look nicer and it definitely has been helping with re-hydrating it. The cream has an amazing consistency, something between reach cream and gel and when massaged into the skin it feels very moisturising and nourishing. It leaves my skin velvety soft and smooth and firmer and plumper the next day.

So these are my absolutely favourite beauty products from the last few days. Have you tried any of them? What have you been loving lately?

  1. The Origins Overnight Mask is one of my all time favourites - it's such a great mask! It really does make a huge difference to my skin. I still need to get my hands on one of the Zoeva palettes.

  2. I have been thinking of getting the over night cream as it sounds really good, but I have so many on the go and my skin is not liking me at the moment that I have given it a miss but I will pick it up soon :) Also love the MUA highlighter a lot and for the price I would get it again when mine runs out

  5. Origins mask has been my favourite for a while. I emptied it a while back and started testing Youth mask from Body Shop. I don't find it as nourishing though :/ I am looking forward to trying Miracle cream from Garnier and it's on my list "to buy" once I'm done with my current nightime favourite from Nip+Fab 😊 great bunch of favourites 😊

  6. I have a liquid highlighter that I never think about mixing in with my foundation but you've just inspired me to give that a go. I've also been turning to the pink shades in my blush collection, but I don't quite have anything like your Sephora blush, it looks gorgeous!
