Freedom Makeup Pro12 'Dreamcatcher' palette - review and swatches

It's been a while since I dedicated a whole post to a single palette but this one, I think, truly deserves it :) 12 shades with amazing pigmentation, great to work with, for only £4!
You could see in my Freedom Makeup haul that I bought two Pro12 eyeshadow palettes, one of them being the Dreamcatcher. It's definitely not your everyday neutral palette but one that is fantastic to play with colour and, considering how affordable it is, everyone who loves eyeshadows should have it in their collection.

The eyeshadows come in a simple, but sturdy, plastic packaging with a sponge type of applicator which got lost immediately as I never use them but they're definitely useful to pack on colour onto the lid for someone with very minimal brush collection. I like that the lid of the packaging is transparent so it's easy to see what palette you're reaching for, in case of having a few from the range. There are 12 shades, from neutrals to intensive pop of colour, with an embossed pattern resembling the Nars dual intensity eyeshadows. All of the eyeshadows have either satin or metallic finish, so this is kind of a downside of this palette but I'm sure any of you have some matte shades to use with the Dreamcatcher palette, if not, Freedom Makeup have a Pro12 palette with all matte shades which would be perfect to complement any eye look.

The quality of the eyeshadows is really fantastic, they're very pigmented, feel so soft almost creamy, they blend really well and stay on the eyes without creasing or fading around 10 hours, there is also almost no fallout at all while applying them to the eyes. I don't think you can get better quality palette of 12 eyeshadows for the price. In fact some of my much more expensive palettes feel not as good as the Freedom Makeup offering.
And just look at the swatches! All done without a primer underneath.

I'm absolutely loving these new palettes from Freedom Makeup and whilst the Audacious 3 is one I've been reaching for on daily basis, the Dreamcatcher is something I get super excited to play with as it's amazing to create beautiful Summer eye looks.
If you're looking for some new, inexpensive eyeshadows I can't recommend enough the Pro12 palettes, the quality will definitely surprise you.

  19. The pigmentation of these looks really impressive! Some of the colours are stunning, and even though there's one or two I'd probably never wear, it doesn't really matter at that price! x

  20. These look incredibly pigmented for a budget palette. Love the 1st row and the fact it also has some fun colours, which is not something I own... I need to get my hands on this. x

  22. I saw this palette when making my Freedom order but I decided against it. Of course, I went with my safer, more comfortable neutrals and bronzey palettes. Now, having seen your swatches - I wish I had been a bit more adventurous! :) x
