On Monday I shared with you my Freedom Makeup haul and today I want to show you makeup look which I created using some of the products. For my eyes I used the Pro12 Audacious 3 palette which is a clear 'dupe' for Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. After rather dramatic, evening look I shared with you last week, I thought it would be just fair to do something more wearable during the day this time. So I went with nice, romantic pink tones which complement everyone and add fresh glow to our face.
Even though I don't own the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, after seeing so many swatches online I'm pretty sure that Pro12 Audacious 3 palette by Freedom Makeup is a great 'dupe'. Also the palette is identical, shade wise, with the Iconic 3 by Makeup Revolution which I also have in my collection. But I do prefer the design of the Audacious 3 palette and the quality of eyeshadows seems to be better, they're so buttery soft, almost creamy and have fantastic pigmentation, especially considering the palette retails for only £4! The eyeshadows blend like a dream and stay without creasing and fading for around 8 hours.
Below are swatches of all the shades, from left to right, just like in the palette, they're made without primer underneath.
For my eye makeup I used shade 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 11 and 12.
Primer: Dr Brandt Pores No More
Foundation: L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte in Natural Rose (review)
Concealer: Freedom Makeup Pro Conceal & Correct palette in Light, I mentioned already in my haul post that these are really good concealers but had to be set with a finely milled powder immediately, otherwise they tend to crease and gather in any fine lines.
Powder: L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light all over the face and Makeup Revolution Radiant Powder in Breathe under the eyes.
Contour: BarryM Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit
Blush/Bronzer/Highlighter: Freedom Makeup Pro Glow in Purr, I'm totally obsessed with this product, it gives such a beautiful flush of colour to my cheeks and a subtle sheen, if concentrating your brush in the centre you get more pink toned shade, perfect as a blush and swirling all the shades together gives this lovely bronzy shade which works great as a light bronzer with a glow.
For my lips I used Freedom Makeup Pro Melts in shade Up, which is a bright pink colour with fantastic pigmentation and a good 3-4 hours of staying power.
And this is the finished look :) And yes, I did have a haircut and I'm loving it, it's so much easier to style it :)
Let me know what do you think of this look! Is it something you'd wear?
Have you tried any Freedom Makeup products yet?
Have a lovely weekend!
