Sample Sunday #2 Facetheory Relaxing Night Cream

Today I'm sharing with you another sample which I just used up recently and it's the Relaxing Night Cream (unscented version) from Facetheory, a new skincare UK brand which just launched their products a few weeks ago.
At the beginning of the year they asked on Twitter for volunteers to try their new personalised skincare products and I agreed to be put on the mailing list. Recently I received the sample and I was very eager to try it so started using it straight away.

Facetheory Relaxing Night Cream

Facetheory creates skincare products that are free from parabens, irritants, chemical sunscreens and they don't test on animals. The full size products are all in containers with pumps to reduce the exposure to the air which means less preservatives are used during the production process.
When you go on the website you are asked to take a quick questionnaire and then you're recommended products that suit your skin and lifestyle the best.
You can choose from unscented or lightly scented version of the product and you can buy the full size or just a sample to see if your skin likes it which is a brilliant idea and I think all skincare companies should provide a service like this.

The Relaxing Night Cream has a lovely reach consistency but it's very quickly absorbing, leaving my skin soft to the touch and moisturised. The sample lasted me 5 days so, obviously, I can't comment on any long term effects but during the five days I noticed that my skin loved the cream and I will definitely purchase a full size when my current night cream finishes.
Checking the website I found out that the Relaxing Night Cream contains hyaluronic acid, argan oil, vitamin C, vitamin E, oatmeal, shea butter and silk protein which all sound perfect for more mature skin like mine.

Have you tried anything from Facetheory? Will you be ordering some samples from them?

  4. I haven't heard of this brand before but just checked it out on the website and the price is not too bad either. I am currently banned from using anything new on my skin at the moment as I am having major breakouts but I might look into this once I can use something else :)

  10. I have seen this brand popping up on Instagram and Twitter but haven't tried anything from them. Sounds like your skin got on great with the night cream. Like you mentioned, all skincare brands should offer a sample to buy first :) x

  15. I answered them on twitter too however, the shipping to Canada was exorbitant! Glad to know that the product works, I'll check then out again and hopefully the shipping is more reasonable now.

  18. I was surprised to hear they changed their name so quick after launching then relaunching, but they do have fabulous products.
