Sample Sunday #1 DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

Today I'm starting a new series on my blog dedicated to samples which I have in abundance. I like to try new skincare products so deluxe samples are always welcomed by me but as they're only samples I feel like I can't write a proper review on them if I used the product only for a few days. Normally I don't bother with sachets that are for 1-2 uses but if I can trial a product for at least a week then it's worth trying it. And worth sharing with you if I would purchase a full size and why.
I will keep those sample reviews short and sweet, juts right for a quick read during Sunday morning coffee :)

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil has been loved by many people so when I received my first sample in a beauty box a few months ago I was excited to try it.
Just like the name suggests, it's a cleansing oil which I use in the evenings to cleanse my face after removing my makeup with micellar water.
The main thing that surprised me when I first used it was the scent of olive oil and rightly so because the product is a blend of olive and rosemary oil. At first I wasn't impressed, I just felt like I could do the same cleansing with a regular olive oil but the longer I used it the more I liked it.
The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil removes makeup easily but I usually just use it for the deep cleanse stage as I don't like to remove my eye makeup with oil. I massage it into my skin with circular motions and remove it with wet face cloth. It leaves my skin very clean but soft and hydrated, and not in the slightest tight or irritated.
I'm on the second 30ml sample bottle and the first one lasted me over a month of everyday use so it's very economical.
I really like this Cleansing Oil and very likely will buy a full size in the future, especially as the bigger bottles come with a pump which will be very convenient.

Have you tried the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil? Which other cleansing oils can you recommend?

Sounds good! I have used several oil cleansers (all of them were sample sized too) but haven't yet made a full transition from the more regular ones. They do work though!

  3. I've never tried a deep cleansing oil. I've cleansed with regular olive oil for a while, but for some reason I got away from that and back into other cleansers. This one sounds nice, though, for a deep clean!

I would recommend to use some korean cleansing oil products. Majority of them are really gentle and effective. My favorite one is The Face Shop oil specialist brightening cleansing oil. Try it and make a review out of it. I would loooove to check it if it is work out for you or not ;D

  16. I have read many good reviews on this but have yet to try it myself. Actually, I have never tried classing oil until recently! I bought one from L'Oreal to test if I'll like cleansing oil before investing in a high end brand and so far so good. Next on my list will be this oil from DHC. Great review, Dagmara!

  29. Having a sample series is a great idea. :) I have been thinking of doing the same for a while but just haven't got around to doing it but I also have plenty. I love trying samples before committing to full size (and price tag). This oil sounds lovely. I've never tried it before. I'm currently using the one from The Body Shop and also use it more as my second cleanse. Great stuff! xx
