March Beauty Favourites

I didn't post my beauty favourites last month but recently I definitely picked some products that I've been thoroughly enjoying so decided to share them with you. Some of them are new to me, some of them have been a pleasant rediscovery :)

March Beauty favourites

Recently my skin has been really dehydrated so I've been looking for skincare that focus on helping my skin look and feel better and these two products definitely did their job very well.

Nuxe Crème Fraiche de Beaute Masque-24hr Soothing and Rehydrating Mask - this feels amazing on the skin, very refreshing, cooling and leaves my skin supple and hydrated, after using this mask for the last couple of weeks, combined with my new face cream all my dry patches disappeared. I'm really impressed.

La Roche-Posay Hydreane Light Moisturising Cream for Sensitive Skin - I've been using this cream in the morning and at night in the last couple of weeks and it really helped my skin go back to normal. When visiting my family I decided to keep my skincare routine very simple and took with me only micellar water to remove my makeup, face cleanser, tonner, this cream and the Nuxe mask and my skin has become softer and more hydrated. The cream is very lightweight, sinks in to the skin immediately without leaving any sticky/greasy residue and it's perfect under the makeup. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something gentle yet deeply hydrating.

In the last month I have become fond of many makeup products and tend to reach for them every day.
Firstly, it's the Stila Eyes Are The Windows eyeshadow palette (review), I took it with me when going away as my only palette to give it some love as I definitely neglected it having 100s other palettes and I've been truly loving it. There are some stunning shades which take you from day to night, from neutral eye to smokey look. The quality is great and the packaging is stunning. Now I'm back home I'm excited to start using my new eyehadows from Inglot but I can see coming back to this Stila palette very soon.

Another palette that I've been reaching for every day since getting it is the BarryM Contour Kit. The powders are just perfect for natural highlighting, bronzing the face and adding some contour, they blend so easy and look great. For the price I don't think you can get anything better.

One blush that goes practically with any makeup look and it looks beautiful and natural on my skin is the Max Factor Puff Blush Cream in Seductive Pink (review), I'm absolutely obsessed with it and use it nearly every day!

On my nails for most of the month I was wearing the Maybelline Super Stay nail polish in the shade Pink in the Park, it's such a pretty pastel pink, perfect for this time of the year.

The new Benefit Roller Lash mascara has been reviewed already many times so I spare you the details on it, I'm just going to say that it's becoming my favourite mascara right now and I think it might even take the spot for my all time favourite mascara which is the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. The Roller Lash gives my lashes length, curl and a bit of volume, lasts all day on me and the brush is just fantastic, I always get mascara on my lids but with this brush it doesn't happen so I'm absolutely loving it and I'm thinking of getting the full size.

If you read my review on Essence lip products you know that I'm loving their lip liners and two shades which I've been wearing a lot in the last couple of weeks are the Satin Mauve and Cute Pink. They feel comfortable on my lips, last well and the colours are so pretty.

Last but not least is my current favourite foundation, the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte (review), it gives me nice coverage, lovely natural finish and lasts most of the day, I'm absolutely obsessed with it and haven't reached for any other foundation since getting it a few weeks ago.

So these are my recent beauty favourites, have you tried anything from this bunch of products?
What are your current beauty favourites?

  34. I love the shades in the Stila palette! they all look so pretty! That Nuxe mask sounds like something I need, my skin has been freaking out recently (hoping its for hormonal reasons, hope thats not too tmi!! haha) and so I've stopped using my creams to not aggravate it, the cooling and refreshing part sounds amazing and probably something my skin needs at the moment.

That maybelline polish looks gorgeous, I love how good quality they are. The Roller lash is still something I need to try out, I think I'm the only one who hasn't haha, the new maybelline mascara is said to be a good dupe for it and I do LOVE it but I'd still love to give roller lash ago. Great picks! :) look forward to seeing a Friday look with your new Inglot purchases :) xx

  36. Don't skip your moisturiser because your skin will produce more oil to compensate the lack of hydration and you'll be prone to more spots. The Nuxe mask is really lovely, La Roche-Posay has a nice hydrating one as well!
How come you didn't pick up the Elle magazine with Roller Lash?? haha! It's a very good mascara! x

  37. It's been well loved recently :) x

  38. Oh god I did not know that, thank you for telling me, that does explain a few things. I'm going into boots tomorrow so I'll take a look at La-Roche Posay :)
And by the time I went in store to pick up a copy of Elle they had sold out at literally every where including WHSmiths! I did find one copy in Sainsburys but someone had taken the mascara out :( I might try and pick up a sample from the Benefit counter tomorrow :) x
