Beauty box swap

A couple of months ago Kat from Tales of a Pale Face announced that she wants to organise a Spring blogger swap and asked for people willing to take part in it. As I had never done a beauty swap with another blogger I jumped at a chance and signed up for it. A few weeks later I was paired with the lovely Lora behind the Moonface Blogs which I hope you'll all check out as she runs a beautiful blog and loves drugstore makeup so anyone can find something for themselves :)
After exchanging a few emails in order to get to know each other a bit more, we decided on the budget of the beauty box and the date to send them out. In the meantime I travelled to Poland so it was a great opportunity to get something for Lora while being there.
Couple of weeks ago we sent the boxes out to each other and here's what Lora got me.

beauty box swap

As you can see she outdid herself with selecting lots of variety of products from skincare to makeup, from samples to full sizes. I feel like the box I sent her is not as half as good.
Amongst the things she got me there a few products that I received in some beauty boxes in the past but the majority is new to me and I'm very excited to use everything.
Unfortunately the Wet n Wild eyeshadows trio got smashed in the transit which I was really gutted about, but the rest of products arrived in excellent condition.

As Lora told me she picked some of her favourite things like the MUA highlighter and Avon eyeliner and I'm more than happy to try them for myself.
I haven't tried the Avon Face Pearls but they look really beautiful and I can't wait to use them.
And look at this super cute Givenchy sample lipstick! The shade of the lipstick is 202 Rose Dressing which is a peachy pink colour, perfect for Spring. Beautiful coral shade has the BarryM lipstick and I love those kind of shades for Summer so Lora did very well :)
Balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm is one of my favourite face cleansers so I'm delighted to have a deluxe sample of it.
And the scent of Bath&Body Works hand sanitizer is so lovely I'm tempted to rub it all over my body :)

I'm more than happy with the content of the box Lora got for me and I'm so glad I discovered her blog and got to know this lovely young woman.
If you're curious what I sent to Laura then check out her post.

Have you taken part in any blogger swap recently? Would you like to do something similar?

  4. I love the idea of a blogger swap but I think I would prefer mine to be from another country. Although it's more stress with postage, I would love to try other brands that you don't get in the UK. Such a shame about the palette but the rest of the items look great - looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them :) x

I have that Avon face pearls and I love it! It gives a very subtle natural radiance on th skin. Looking forward to all your reviews!
