Project #CleansingMilkTrial with Escentual

#CleansingMilkTrial samples

Hello!
If you're a beauty blogger or/and beauty enthusiast I'm sure you know Escentual, a great website stocking a fantastic range of products from makeup to French Pharmacy skincare (up to 1/3 off right now!). A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Emma asking for volunteers ready to help with the Cleansing Milk Blind Trial run by Escentual . She explained that they need people to test a selection of anonymous cleansing milks in order to create the Ultimate Cleansing Milk Edit, just like they did with the Micellar Waters which you can read about here.
I thought it was a fab idea and signed up for the project. Luckily I was one of the people to be sent seven samples of cleansing milks including Guerlain, Caudalie, Clarins, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Nuxe and Eucerin (in no particular order) to test them out.

I am very excited to do it and it's so much fun not knowing what cleansing milk I'm putting on my face, what does it claim to do, apart from the obvious - cleansing, and just to smell it, feel it and test it without being biased by some reviews or if it's a high end brand or not.
I've only tried La Roche-Posay and Vichy cleansing milks in the past so I'm very curious if I will guess them right :)
After we're done with testing, we need to share our opinion on every sample via a dedicated survey.
I can't wait for the final reveal and the Ultimate Cleansing Milk Edit!

I've decided to test every sample for three consecutive days and write down all the thoughts about it. I'm on the Sample B at the moment and I'm already favouring it over Sample A :)

Let me know if you're taking part in the #CleansingMilkTrial as well and what do you think about this project?
I will update you on how I'm getting on with my samples and then again, when the survey is done and the samples are revealed, if you're interested :)

Ps. it's not a sponsored post, and I didn't need to write anything about the project, I just thought it would be fun to share it with you :)

  22. Oh no! I've been having recently some unusual for me breakouts but I put it down rather to testing new foundation and cream rather than the cleansers. Which sample you're blaming for the breakout? x

  24. I've only used one so far which is Sample A - it's really strongly scented and leaves my skin quite tingly so I was a bit weary. It only took 3 cleanses and it broke me out! :( xx

  25. Yeah, the first sample did feel a bit tingly, I liked the second one better, I'm now on the sample Creation and I'm not loving The scent/no scent and thought this one was the 'guilty' one. X
