Friday makeup look #10 | Fun Spring look

With days getting longer and warmer, daffodils blooming and Spring just around the corner I decided to create a fun, colourful makeup look using the latest addition to my eyeshadow palette collection, the Zoeva 'Love Is a Story' palette which I reviewed just couple of days ago.
Without rambling too much let's go straight to the products I used for this makeup look.
I really enjoyed playing with this palette and used nearly all the shades on my eyes, I know, getting a bit crazy creative :)

Zoeva Love is a story palette - swatches

*After priming my eyelids with Seventeen Phwoarr Concealer, I applied Film Star all over my lid up to the brows as a base for my eyeshadows and brow bone highlight, every time I use this eyeshadow I'm amazed how pigmented is this light shade!
*I defined my crease with Over You
*I applied Affair on the inner half of my eyelid, how gorgeous is this shade, very subtle iridescent golden peachy pink
*On the outer half of my lid I placed Ladylike, blending the edges with Affair lightly,  the pigmentation of this matte shade is just incredible!
*I darkened the outer corner of my lid with Mystery Date and then using the tiniest bit of the shade Over You I blended everything nicely in the crease
*On my lower lid I applied Old fashioned with a  bit of Mystery Date in the outer part
*I applied Little Kiss in my inner corner of the eye.

I lined my upper lash line with Eyko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner creating a small wing, I applied Rimmel Nude pencil on my waterline, coated my lashes with Benefit RollerLash mascara and added Red Cherry false lashes.

Brows, as usual:
Rimmel Eye Brow pencil in hazel and L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in Medium Brown.

For my base I used:
Primer - L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer
Foundation - L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Foundation in 12 Natural Rose, I've been using this foundation for the past week and I'm really liking it, expect a review on it soon :)
Concealer - to conceal my under eye dark circles I used Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer (review), for any skin imperfection - Seventeen Phwoar Paint in Medium and to highlight the centre of my face I applied the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Concealer in Light.

To lightly contour my cheeks, bronze my face and set my under eye concealer I used the new BarryM Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit which I think it's a great alternative to the more expensive ones that are so popular right now. The kit contains three powders: very light yellow shade with satin finish to use as a natural highlight, medium matte warm brown as a bronzer and cool toned brown matte shade as a contour powder. They're all nicely pigmented, silky soft and they blend beautifully.

To add more highlight on my cheek bones, on top of my nose, on top of my cupid bow I used the Makeup Revolution Radiant Powder in Breathe which I'm obsessed with, it's such a gorgeous subtle highlighter. As my blush I used another of my latest obsession, the MaxFactor Crème Puff Blush in Seductive Pink.

For my lips I used this beautiful Spring-y peachy pink lipstick from Essence in the shade 13 Love Me.

Then I spray my face with the Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray to help all my makeup blend nicely together and extend its longevity.

And that's the finished look :)

Wow, such a gorgeous look! That Makeup Rev highlighter is stunning, I'll have to get my hands on that soon! The Zoeva palette looks impressive too, but I'm not so brave when it comes to coloured eyeshadow, so I don't think I'd get enough use out of it!
