Beauty haul including Inglot, Sephora and more

Welcome back to my corner of the internet :) Hope you're all well!
I had a great time in Poland visiting my family, boys recovered from chicken pox just on time and enjoyed the trip as well. Of course the traveling wouldn't be complete without a bit of shopping, so I'm coming today to you with a haul post :)
Inglot shop was the one I knew I had to visit as I was desperate to get some of their eyeshadows. Inglot is a Polish brand created over 30 years ago and has started the worldwide expansion in 2006. I remember using their eyeshadows and nail polishes when I first started wearing makeup long time ago but I haven't used their products in ages. The quality of Inglot makeup has been improving over the years and nowadays it's a brand used and loved by many makeup artists all over the world.
Inglot's famous Freedom System lets you create a palette to suit your needs. They have palettes of different sizes and designs to house eyeshadows, powders, blushes or lip products.
If you've been reading my blog for a while you know that eyeshadows are my biggest makeup obsession so it's not a surprise that I bought a few of them :)

L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer and Foundation

L'Oreal Infallible mattifying Foundation
Recently there have been released many new foundations, both drugstore and high end and even though I definitely don't need a new one right now, the curiosity to try the next most perfect foundation takes the better of me. After rather disappointing experience with the new Maybelline Dream Touch foundation I just had to test the latest offerings from L'Oreal: the Infallible Mattifying Foundation and Primer.
I don't reach for a primer every day but if I want my makeup to last longer and look better I definitely use it and have my favourites, like The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser and Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer. So picking up this L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer, (£6.99), was basically the excuse 'for the blog' to test it out. But I'm really glad I got it because it's a very good primer.

Essence lipsticks and lip liners

Essence lipliners
A while ago I read on a couple of beauty blogs about the Essence lip liners and how good they are, especially for the price, so seeing they're cheap as chips I decided to get them. In UK Essence products are now stocked in Wilkinson shops which isn't as handy as it was in Boots or Superdrug so I ordered some of their products online.
I got three lipsticks in shades that seemed nice for Spring and all the lip liners they had in stock.

Latest in Beauty 'The Glamour Spring Beauty Edit'

Latest in Beauty the Glamour Spring Beauty Edit

Normally I don't post on Tuesdays but this beauty box was sitting on my makeup table full of great things and I thought that it's too good not to blog about so here it is, sneaky Tuesday post :)
When I first ventured in to the blogging world I got so excited to have discovered the beauty box subscriptions that I signed up for two of them straight away. And it was a great experience, I got to try many great products and discover new brands. But after a while the beauty boxes stopped being so exciting for me, I had so many samples to go through that I decided to cancel my subscriptions and didn't buy any other even if they seemed great. But when I saw that the Latest in Beauty in collaboration with Glamour magazine put their Spring Beauty Edit box which included full size Nuxe mask and KIKO eyeshadow stick, both of which I wanted to try, I placed the order without hesitation.
The box costs £16.99 including delivery and contains 7 full size products worth together £99.

InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum - review

InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Hyaluronic Acid has become a popular ingredient is skincare products in recent years. And rightly so because it's a fantastic substance which naturally occurs in human body, especially between skin cells, in the inner part of our eyes and joints. Hyaluronic Acid can retain up to 1000 times its weight in water hence its great moisturising properties. Babies have plump, smooth skin because they are born with high amount of Hyaluronic Acid which sadly decreases as we age. That's why skincare products containing this ingredient are so great to improve the skin's appearance.
There is a great article here if you want to read more about benefits of Hyaluronic Acid but I will stop now before you get bored and start feeling like during Science class :)

Friday makeup look #10 | Fun Spring look

With days getting longer and warmer, daffodils blooming and Spring just around the corner I decided to create a fun, colourful makeup look using the latest addition to my eyeshadow palette collection, the Zoeva 'Love Is a Story' palette which I reviewed just couple of days ago.
Without rambling too much let's go straight to the products I used for this makeup look.
I really enjoyed playing with this palette and used nearly all the shades on my eyes, I know, getting a bit crazy creative :)

Zoeva 'Love Is A Story' palette - review and swatches

Zoeva Love is a story palette

Zoeva is a brand that I discovered only last year thanks to the blogging world and have fallen in love with their brushes, not only they look beautiful but also are great quality and not very expensive. While browsing Zoeva's website some time ago I realised they have also some makeup and their eyeshadow palettes went straight on to my wish list, yeah, I know, I'm obsessed :)
Recently many bloggers have reviewed their latest Rose Golden palette, it looks absolutely gorgeous and I thought this will be my first Zoeva makeup item. But then I decided that while this palette is beautiful, there isn't much variety within the shades and as I love experimenting with different looks and colours I picked up the Love Is A Story palette which has some neutrals but also some bright colours.

On the Zoeva website you can read:
"This palette is a key piece for the dressing table of a lady. Inspired by the makeup of the early ‘60s and movie stars. Femininity with power."

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation - review

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation
If you read my recent drugstore haul you know that I was very excited to get the new Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude foundation (£5.99). I've heard many people raving about it and even comparing it to the YSL Fusion Ink foundation which I wanted to try since its launch.
The Maybelline foundation comes in a cute glass bottle which contains 20ml of product. There are 7 shades available in UK with Ivory being the palest and unfortunately, I don't think is pale enough for very fair skin.
What the Maybelline says about this foundation?
*Ultra-fine, lightweight formula that is 12 x finer can be applied like a face cream
*Blends instantly onto skin
*Gives impeccable yet undetectable coverage
*Coverage that is buildable but still looks and feels natural
*No heavy, caked-on effect
*Our special teardrop shaped applicator delivers the perfect amount of product for fuss-free application

Nail polishes for Spring

Nail polishes for Spring

With days getting longer, warmer, sunnier and Spring just around the corner it was only natural for me to ditch the dark coloured nail polishes and bring back the lighter, brighter and more pastel ones. Today I want to share with you a few new additions to my nail polish collection which certainly doesn't need expanding but what can I say, I just can't resist all the pretty new shades :)
Let's start with a brand that I only recently started exploring and decided to pick up some nail polishes to check what the formula is like.

Friday makeup look #9 Purple smokey eyes using Iconic Pro 1 palette

Purple smoke-y eyes makeup look

I can't believe it's another Friday, the time is absolutely flying! Anyway I'm here to share with you yet one more makeup look :)
In the last couple of weeks I've been using a lot the two new Iconic Pro 1 & 2 palettes by Makeup Revolution and while I was trying to create different looks I was kind of drawn to two shades and recreated the same makeup look a few times.
Today I'm also using the same shades but the version is smoke-y, more evening appropriate. If you own the Lorac Pro 1 palette you can probably recreate a very similar version of this look.
So let me show you the shades I chose for my eye makeup.

Project #CleansingMilkTrial with Escentual

#CleansingMilkTrial samples
If you're a beauty blogger or/and beauty enthusiast I'm sure you know Escentual, a great website stocking a fantastic range of products from makeup to French Pharmacy skincare (up to 1/3 off right now!). A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Emma asking for volunteers ready to help with the Cleansing Milk Blind Trial run by Escentual . She explained that they need people to test a selection of anonymous cleansing milks in order to create the Ultimate Cleansing Milk Edit, just like they did with the Micellar Waters which you can read about here.
I thought it was a fab idea and signed up for the project. Luckily I was one of the people to be sent seven samples of cleansing milks including Guerlain, Caudalie, Clarins, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Nuxe and Eucerin (in no particular order) to test them out.

Drugstore beauty haul

I don't do very often haul posts here, on Mummy's Beauty Corner, not that I don't buy things, exactly the opposite but I'm just too impatient to wait with sharing with you my thoughts on products. If I buy something I start testing it straight away, many times even without taking the pictures first, I know, what a beauty blogger I am, haha. If the item is not a skincare product I test it for a week or so and I'm ready to post a review if I want to. But in the last couple of weeks I bought some things that I haven't had the chance to review it yet or tested properly so here we are with a little drugstore haul :)
