Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes - review and swatches

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush Seductive Pink

Hello!
If you are a beauty obsessed person like me you must have seen the recent launch of the new Max Factor Crème Puff Blushes. The reviews, including comparison the much more expensive Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes, started popping out on my Bloglovin feed so the curiosity got the best of me and when I was in Boots last time I decided to check them out. There were only 4 out of the 6 shades from this range at that time and I picked 2 of them: Seductive Pink and Gorgeous Berries.

They are baked, marbled blushes, very finely milled with silky soft texture, they feel almost creamy to the touch. They apply and blend beautifully. The two shades I own don't have any shimmer, but they leave very subtle glow to the cheeks which looks very natural and pretty. I found that they last  up to 8 hours on my skin which is pretty impressive because many of my other blushes start to disappear around the 6th hour mark.

Seductive Pink.

It's a gorgeous light rosy pink, super easy to apply as the colour is not very intense but can be built up if required.

It's a deep raspberry colour, very beautiful but also very pigmented and need to be apply carefully and with a light hand as can get a bit patchy when trying to blend out the excess.

In overall I really like the Crème Puff Blushes, the formula is fantastic, they don't accentuate any imperfections or large pores and they last quite well on the skin. I can't compared them to the Hourglass ones as I don't own any but they remind me of Milani blushes but are, of course, much easier to get hold of here in UK. They're retailing for £8.99 each, which isn't the cheapest drugstore option but they're really great quality.

Have you tried these blushes yet? If so, which other shade would you recommend for me as I think I need another one :)

  4. These blushes look great! I've been thinking about getting Seductive Pink. It's such a pretty colour. But I already have a Mac baked blush that is pretty much identical (Dainty) so I decided I didn't need it. God, I must be ill, finding excuses not to buy makeup. lol xx

  6. Max Factor seems to have a lot of gorgeous product, they are known for the mascaras. I tried looking for it as soon as I arrived Canada but unfortunately for me, I can't find them anywhere which led me to believe they are not sold here. :-(

These blushes are stunning and it's tempting me to purchase from online, something that I hate to do when buying makeup. LOL!

  7. These are super pretty! I swatched one of the lighter shades in store but it looked like it had glitter in it so I wasn't that bothered. These shades look lovely on you, they look better than the one I swatched :)

  8. These shades are gorgeous! If you took them out of the Maxfactor packaging, you could mistake them for a much higher end brand xx

  9. They're such pretty colours but they kind of just went patchy on me really quickly :( I just kind of deal with it though as I really like the colours and the 'not too sparkly' highlight from them xx

  13. The illness is called 'being responsible adult', haha! And wait till you have children, buying another spiderman toy will be way more important than buying a new lipstick, lol! That shade is really pretty but if you have something similar it really doesn't make sense to get this. xx

  15. I know, buying makeup online is not the best, they should be available worldwide, they don't have Max Factor in Canada? What a shame! x

  16. Exactly! When you touch them, they feel so luxurious! x

  17. How strange! Surprisingly they last on my skin really well. The colours are really pretty and you can hardly see any shimmer in these two shades, xx

  19. I have been wanting to try sooo many Maxfactor products, but every single item I have used from them has broken me out in hives. They seem to have an ingredient that I am allergic too, and I am not sure which. :(((

These are so pretty though, if I wasn't allergic, i would purchase!

  24. Yes, from every single product. I get the worst allergic reaction from them. When I used their eyeshadows, I had to go to the hospital, it was soo bad.
