If you are a beauty obsessed person like me you must have seen the recent launch of the new Max Factor Crème Puff Blushes. The reviews, including comparison the much more expensive Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes, started popping out on my Bloglovin feed so the curiosity got the best of me and when I was in Boots last time I decided to check them out. There were only 4 out of the 6 shades from this range at that time and I picked 2 of them: Seductive Pink and Gorgeous Berries.
They are baked, marbled blushes, very finely milled with silky soft texture, they feel almost creamy to the touch. They apply and blend beautifully. The two shades I own don't have any shimmer, but they leave very subtle glow to the cheeks which looks very natural and pretty. I found that they last up to 8 hours on my skin which is pretty impressive because many of my other blushes start to disappear around the 6th hour mark.
It's a gorgeous light rosy pink, super easy to apply as the colour is not very intense but can be built up if required.
It's a deep raspberry colour, very beautiful but also very pigmented and need to be apply carefully and with a light hand as can get a bit patchy when trying to blend out the excess.
In overall I really like the Crème Puff Blushes, the formula is fantastic, they don't accentuate any imperfections or large pores and they last quite well on the skin. I can't compared them to the Hourglass ones as I don't own any but they remind me of Milani blushes but are, of course, much easier to get hold of here in UK. They're retailing for £8.99 each, which isn't the cheapest drugstore option but they're really great quality.
Have you tried these blushes yet? If so, which other shade would you recommend for me as I think I need another one :)
