Milani baked blushes: Luminoso and Bella Rosa - review and swatches

Hello!
After buying my first Milani lipsticks a few months ago and falling in love with them (review here) I decided to try more products from the much loved in America brand. You can find a wide variety of their products on Comedic UK website. Today I want to share with you my new found love for Milani baked blushes. I chose two completely different shades and finishes, matte Bella Rosa and shimmery Luminoso.
The packaging of these blushes is plastic but sturdy with secure closure and it doesn't actually look very cheap in my opinion. Underneath the blush there is a little mirror and a tiny brush for touch ups but I don't think the brush is good enough for applying any blush.

These are baked blushes and even though I always thought baked powders are shimmery here we have prove that they don't have to be. Blush Bella Rosa is a matte hot pink colour and Luminoso is a light peach with a light shimmer.

It's a super pigmented blush, the swatches are from swirling once my finger in the blush, you need to only lightly touch the brush to get enough product for your cheek. The formula is silky soft and blends beautifully, it also has a good staying power  and wears off evenly. I love it for the healthy, rosy cheeks look, it adds life to my face instantly.

This is just a gorgeous peach-y colour that adds luminosity to the skin. It's not very shimmery, it gives rather beautiful sheen and just like Bella Rosa is silky smooth and very pigmented. Absolutely love it for a very natural, fresh look or on top of a bronzer for more of a golden glow. It's also very versatile and goes with nearly every makeup look.

Have you tried any Milani baked blushes? Can you recommend any other colours? I am obsessed with them and will definitely buy some more.

    1. They're crazy pigmented, of course Luminoso is a light shade so you don't have to be too careful when applying it but Bella Rosa is dangerous, haha, but it looks gorgeous on the cheeks when used properly :) x
