Is your mascara Better Than Sex?

Hello!
Mascara is one of those make up items that I can't live without. My lashes are very light and nearly non existent without make up so my need for a good mascara on daily basis is huge!
I like my lashes to be black, thick and long but still looking natural. Normally I use drugstore mascaras as many of them are great and I don't see the point on spending lots of money on high end ones. But when I received Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara in BBB Dream Box I got very excited to try it.
First of all - the name, how cheeky it is and it makes you immediately want to try the product. Second - the packaging, gorgeous rose and gold box and very sleek, though heavier than your standard, tube. It screams 'I'm amazing, luxurious, you must try me'.

My current fragrances

Summer fragrances

Hello!
I absolutely love perfumes, can't be without wearing any fragrance even if I am just at home doing housework and looking after my sons. Nice scent makes me feel prettier, sexier and happier. Spritz of some gorgeous perfume can lift my mood instantly and bring memories of time when I was wearing it.
Even though I have some all time favourite fragrances I tend to come back to, I love discovering new scents and change the ones I like to wear quite frequently, especially with the seasons.
The four fragrances I'm going to tell you about have been my 'go to' scents for the last 2, 3 months so basically are more Summer/Early Autumn appropriate for me.

My week away from blogging in pictures

Hello!
Welcome back after my short break I took from blogging!
As you might know my Mum visited us for a week and as we see each other only couple of times a year I wanted to spend quality time with Her and focus entirely on my family.
We had great time together, boys were spoilt rotten by Grandma and we all were very happy. Times like this make you appreciate all the little moments in life that, at the end of the day, mean the most.

Blogging is becoming a big part of my life so I've decided to share a bit of personal life here on my blog and share with you, my readers, some important moments thus this post.

Without writing too much I leave you with some photos we took during my Mum's visit.

Just a short break!

Hello!

Today I just wanted to let you all know that Mummy's Beauty Corner will be taking a week off from blogging. The reason for this is that my Mum is visiting me and my little family and as we see each other only a couple of times a year I want to spend with her some quality time and focus mainly on her.
I will be back in a week time with some new, exciting posts so stay tuned:)
In the meantime I will still check my twitter account daily and blog comments and will respond to any of your messages.
Also my Giveaway will be finishing this week so I'll be checking the entries and choosing the winner by random. If you still haven't entered it do it, you can win some fab drugstore make up products!

Speak to you soon!

Love Me Beauty - August Edition

Hello!
It's time again for my Love Me Beauty box review! This month I wasn't too excited about the menu selection as it seemed a bit similar to the previous month's box but at the end I decided to order it as one of the product stood out to me and it made already the box worth it. So let's have a look what's inside my box.

Splurge or save? #1 Beauty Blender vs Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Hello!
Ever since finding out about the Beauty Blender sometime last year I wanted to try it as it had great reviews and it seemed like the perfect tool to achieve a flawless complexion. Unfortunately with RRP £16 I couldn't justify the purchase of this make up sponge. But I was still very curious about this, new to me, make up tool so I bought a similar sponge by Cosmopolitan. Even though it wasn't the original Beauty Blender the finish it gave to my foundation was so much better than using my fingers or foundation brush and I was hooked. After that I got the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and I loved it.
Recently I had to repurchase my RT Miracle Complexion Sponge and also decided to get the original Beauty Blender as I still had the desire to try it out and to see if is any better than its rival.

Manicure Monday #10

Hello!
This week I'm back to my favourite bright Summer colours for my nails. The weather in UK hasn't been as good the last week but I still want my nails to be cheerful and Summery. I've chosen for my manicure this beautiful coral-y pink shade from Rimmel I heart Lasting Finish 'Hot Tropicana'. In my opinion this is the most perfect Summer pink. I absolutely love the look of my nails, the shade is gorgeous, it looks more pink in some lights and more coral in others. Beautiful anyway!

'You Beauty Discovery' box - August Edition

YOU Beauty Discovery August 2014

Hello!
You Beauty Discovery box has been consistently my favourite beauty box and once again it didn't disappoint. Costing only £6.95 (including p&p) doesn't really break the bank and the fact you can choose two samples/full size products that suit you best  make it the most appealing, for me, subscription box.
This month the theme for the box was Summer Essentials and the selection of products was, as usual, very good. It was hard for me to choose my two items as there were some great skincare products but also beautiful nail polishes and the 'nail polish addict' in me was trying to take control:)

The Fragrance Shop Discovery Club - Summer 2014 Edition

Hello!
I love perfumes, more than that, I'm rather obsessed with them. I need to wear some kind of fragrance every day even if I don't leave the house. Smelling nice makes me feel prettier, sexier and lifts my mood instantly. I adore spraying my wrists with perfume and detecting all the notes when the scent is developing on my skin. I rarely buy a bottle of perfume without trying it on my skin first as it can smell totally different than on a paper strip which we normally use when testing new fragrances in the shop. Testing more than two different fragrances at once is just overwhelming for me and confusing. That's why I love getting and using samples. So when I found out sometime last year about subscription box containing perfume samples I signed up straight away. I think it's a great idea, you get a little sample of fragrance that you can test out properly in the peace of your home.
Recently I've been asked if I'd like to review the Discovery Club box and I didn't hesitate because I already knew that I like it.

My love for Dove Body Lotions

Dove Body Lotions Purely Pampering

Hello!
I can not be without body lotions, I use them every single day after a shower, otherwise my skin feels tight, uncomfortable and gets dry. I go through them with 'light speed' so I want them to be cheap. Cheap but still very good at moisturising my skin, fast absorbing without leaving sticky or greasy residue and easy and quick to apply. That's when Dove Body Lotions come in handy.

Manicure Monday #9 BarryM 'Almond'

Hello!
My latest manicure features one of the newest addition to BarryM Gelly Hi-Shine collection called 'Almond'. It's a beautiful grey-ish beige with lilac undertones, perfect nude for any season and, in my opinion, very chic colour for any occasion. Normally I prefer to wear bright colours on my nails during Summer but this shade really stood out to me and I've chosen it for my manicure. Just to add a bit of brightness I paired it with OPI Love.Live.Carnaval which I featured already in one of my older posts.
