A few months ago I got this little bottle of The Secret Wonder Oil from Betty Hula in Love Me Beauty box. By then I didn't know anything about the product nor the brand. But quickly I learnt that Betty Hula is a UK brand offering handmade, natural facial and body products, free from Parabens, Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Artificial Colours, suitable for vegetarians and not tested on animals.
The Secret Wonder Oil comes in a 10ml bottle with a rollerball for easy application and perfect to have it in a handbag.

I'm not a massive lipstick girl, much prefer sheer lip glosses as they are not as high maintenance as bright lipsticks. But every now and then I like to put on a nice lippy and best if it lasts a decent amount of time instead of disappearing with the first drink I have. Lately I've been using for special days/nights out this bright pink L'Oreal Infallible 24H Lip Colour in Flawless Fuchsia which I received in my latest You Beauty box.

Welcome to the Summer! Another weekend behind us, I hope it was as great for you as it was for me. The weather was beautiful and we had a lovely BBQ party with our friends on Saturday to celebrate one of our friends' birthday but also the beginning of Summer.
I was wearing a lovely lilac top and decided to match my nails with it ( do you ever do that?) and decided to use this Ciate nail polish in Sugar Plum which I was wearing recently ( see here) and to spice things up a bit I painted my thumb nail and ring finger nail with this NYX nail polish I just received in my latest Love Me Beauty box.

Foundation is for me one of the most important make up products, I can't be without one but also I haven't found my holy grail yet so the search for the ONE continues.
For the last month I've been using this, fairly new on the market, Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Flawless Finish Foundation in Ivory. The formula is vitamin enriched and it supposed to improve skin's appearance after 3 weeks of regular use. The foundation claims to even out discoloration and brightens dull areas, providing a healthy looking glow.

My hands are very sensitive and get dry and irritated very quickly no matter how careful I am with using gloves while cleaning and applying hand cream a hundred times a day. A couple of months ago they became extremely dry, the skin was cracked, sore and itchy. I've used ton's of different hand creams but they didn't help that much and my hands, especially the right one, were in awful condition. I was thinking to get a professional advice on what to use to sooth and hydrate my hands when I came across a very helpful post on Joey's blog about La Roche-Posay Cicaplast hand cream and I decided to give it a go.

Here comes the time of the month for my Love Me Beauty box. June Edition had, as usual, three Menus to choose from, they differ only slightly but the one that was the most attractive for me was Menu 1.
This month, as opposite to last month Love Me Beauty focused on beauty products which I was happy about although there weren't really very exciting ones.
Let me show you what I've got in my box.

Last weekend with all this sunshine we were lucky to get I was feeling very Summery and decided to paint my nails with one of the nail varnishes from the Brazil Collection by OPI for Spring/Summer 2014. The shade I've chosen is called Love Live Carnaval and just the name put me in the mood for a holidays and a party.
It's a beautiful very bright coral with orange undertones. Perfect for Summer. It's going to look even better with a tanned skin. I am loving my nails with this shade on and I think it will flatter all skin tones.

In the latest BBB Dream box (read here) I received this Awesome Eyeshadow and Eyebrow Palette 'Make Believe' from Makeup Revolution London. I was really excited to see all those beautiful, bright eyeshadows perfect for Summer. I'm sure if I was choosing it for myself I would have picked a different palette but I'm happy with the one I was given as I can experiment with my eye make up and add some bright colours to my eyes.

Another month and another You Beauty Discovery box has landed on my doorstep. And one more time it doesn't disappoint. Even though this month I wasn't as excited as previously when I saw the selection of cosmetics to choose from but nevertheless there were lovely products and brands I've never tried before.
The theme for this month's box was Beauty Heroes, products tried, tested and loved by the You Beauty team.

I love painting my nails and if you are regular reader of my blog you know that nearly every week I have a post "What's on my nails?". But because I am a busy mummy normally I do my manicure only during weekend and tend to post my nail-post around Monday or Tuesday so decided to rename my posts to Manicure Monday and make it a regular feature on my blog.
Today I'm showing you this beautiful pastel lilac Ciate polish in Sugar Plum and Caviar Pearls in Ice Queen which I've got as a freebie with the latest issue of Marie Claire.

Last month I've used up quite a few products, most of them full sized and some sample sizes of skincare products. I love getting and using samples that are big enough to have a few uses out of it which is perfect to find out if you like the product and if it's suitable for you, it is especially helpful with more expensive brands.
Let me tell you a bit more about all the beauty products I emptied last month.

In the latest BBB Dream box (read here) I got this Essie nail polish from the Spring 2014 Collection in the shade Hide and Go Chic. In the bottle it looks like a muted blue shade but on my nails it's actually more of a teal tone. Nevertheless I like it a lot and to jazz things up a bit I added a Maybelline Color Show Street Artist Top Coat to my thumb and ring finger nails.

May has gone with a light speed and we are well into Summer months which is very exciting and I hope we'll have lots of sunshine.
Over last few weeks I've been discovering lots of new products and while many of them I liked a lot these five little gems I've been using more than others so they've made to my top 5 May favourite beauty products.
