I'm coming back today with another festive makeup look, this time is one definitely for a party or an evening out. I used again the Too Faced 'Everything Nice' palette because I'm obsessed with it but also, because it has this gorgeous teal/emerald shade that I wanted to use on my eyes. As the eyes are quite bold I kept the makeup of the rest of my face rather nude.
So here's what I used to create my party look.
For my foundation I used the Seventeen Stay Time in Natural which gives amazing coverage, keeps my skin matte and stays looking well for good 6 hours. To cover my dark under eye circles and highlight the centre of my face I applied Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer in Classic Beige. I set everything with L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light which is excellent for this and doesn't look cakey at all.
To add a bit of warmth to my face I applied Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer and Papa Don't Preach blusher from the palette.
To highlight the highest points of my cheeks I used BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal, a stunning product which gives me such a natural looking "glow from within" without being too shimmery. On the swatch below I blended some of the cream on my hand so you can clearly see the beautiful glow it gives.
To define my brows I used, as usual, Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown and set it with Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown.
For my eyes I used these eye shadows from my Too Faced palette but they are just a reference, you can use any similar shades from your eye shadow collection.
1 - firstly I applied Fawned Of You all over my crease as my transition shade.
2 - Too Glam is such a gorgeous shade and so pigmented that I didn't even need any darker base for it to be vibrant on my lid, I applied it to my lids except the inner corners.
3 - Shiny Happy is another amazingly pigmented shade, I'd describe it as white gold, I used it for my inner corners blending it with Too Glam.
4 - I used Secret Lovers for my outer corners of the eyes to define the eye, I blended it also lightly into the crease. I then darken further the outer corner with Chocolate Moon which is a very dark brown/nearly black eye shadow.
5 - to highlight the brow bone I applied Heaven - matte, yellow based white shade.
I also used Shiny Happy, Too Glam and Secret Lovers on my lower lash line and lined lightly my waterline with Too Glam.
For my lashes I used L'Oreal Miss Manga mascara and this time I applied false eye lashes (Red Cherry #48) to complete the eye look and, oh boy, they do make a difference!
I also lined my upper lashes with Oriflame The One eye liner for the purpose of masking the falsies' band.
On my lips I applied lipstick by Milani in the shade called 'Naturally Chic' (review here).
And here's the finished look.
I loved how the makeup turned out and the false lashes definitely added more drama and glamour to the look.
What do you think of this makeup look? Is it something you would wear for a special occasion?
