November beauty favourites

November beauty favourites

Hello!
During the last couple of months I bought lots of new makeup items, some were amazing, some just really average but there are a few that I'm reaching for nearly every day so they made to the top of beauty products for the month November.
Can I just digress and say where the hell this year has gone? We are welcoming the last month of the year, how crazy is that?
Anyway, let me tell you which beauty products really stood out for me this month.

November beauty favourites

Too Faced 'Everything Nice' palette ( review here) and Urban Decay 'Vice 3' palette (review here) are my favourite eye shadow palettes to date, I love both of them, they're great quality, contain some gorgeous shades and are very versatile so I've been using one or the other every day, for day time look, evening or party look, they have shades for any makeup look really. I'm obsessed with both palettes!
Another palette that I've been enjoying using is the Makeup Revolution Blush and Contour palette in 'Golden Sugar' (review here), not all the shades I'm loving but there are three that look really beautiful on my skin as highlighters and they are the only ones I'm using if I want to highlight the higher points of my cheeks.

Next is L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Powder in Light which I've been using as my setting powder and it's really amazing. It has a very finely milled formula that doesn't make my skin look cakey at all. The powder mattifies my skin and blurs imperfection, especially those large pores that I hate so much and leaves my skin looking smooth and with velvet finish. I have other powders on the go but I've been reaching only for this one for the last couple of months, definitely my favourite.
Makeup Revolution 'Aqua Seal' Liquid Eye Primer is my new eye shadow primer that I've been using every time I want my makeup to stay in perfect condition all day. It really holds the pigments in place but also adds vibrancy to the colours and for only £3 I don't think you will find a better primer :)
Revlon ColourStay foundation in Sand Beige, there are so many people raving about it and comparing it to Estee Lauder Double Wear and while I haven't tried the Double Wear I can honestly say that the ColourStay is an amazing foundation. It gives very good coverage, looks beautiful on the skin, not too matte but also not too dewy and stays in good condition on my skin for around 10 hours which is something that I rarely experience even with more expensive foundations. I'm very glad that I finally got this foundation. ( I talked about it here).
Urban Decay 'All Nighter' Makeup Setting Spray, I received this sample size when I purchased the Vice 3 palette and I've been loving it. It's such a fine mist and it leaves my skin looking healthy with slightly dewy finish and it does extend the wear time of my makeup. I can't be without it, especially when I'm doing an evening makeup and there is lots of powder products on my face, this mist adds the final touch and makes everything come together. I'm loving it!

And last but not least is this beautiful lipstick from Rimmel Moisture Renew in Vintage Pink. It's a gorgeous mauve-y pink shade with glossy finish, perfect as everyday colour but not your classic nude. I love this kind of purple-y pink colours for Autumn/Winter. And the formula is really moisturising so keep my lips comfortable even if they're not in a best condition which happens quite often now during the colder months.

So these were my favourite beauty products in November, have you tried any of them? What is your current most favourite makeup item? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. I have been wanting to get the Revlon foundation you talk about here. I don't know why, but every time I'm in the store for it, something else catches my eye and I end up leaving without it. ADD, I guess. Hmm. I do need to make a stop by the pharmacy tomorrow, so perhaps I can find enough concentration to get this foundation!

  4. I love the lipstick! It's such a nice shade! I used to wear Revlon ColourStay but it did break me out badly so I eventually gave it to my mom. The finish is beautiful and the coverage incredible I totally agree! Have you tried MAC Fix+ spray? It's the one I use and I wonder if it's similar to the UD one.

    1. What a shame about the Revlon foundation! I haven't noticed any breakouts while using it which I'm very glad as I love this foundation! I haven't used MAC Fix+ I'm afraid, but I highly recommend the UD one, I will be purchasing the full size for sure :) x
