Manicure Monday #22 Essie 'Mamba'

Essie mamba

Hello!
This week I'm showing you a nude manicure, something different from all the darker shades that I've been loving lately. Recently I picked up some Essie nail polishes from Fragrance Direct and while they are not from the latest collections there are still some gorgeous shades to choose from.
I used to be a nude nails kind a girl but now I like to explore different colours and actually nude nail polish rarely can be seen on my nails nowadays. But after finishing my manicure I just remembered why I used to love nude nails, they look elegant, classy and are suitable for any occasion.

Essie 'Mamba' is a peachy nude shade with very subtle silver micro-glitter only visible in certain lights. The formula is great, like with all Essie nail polishes, two coats gave me an opaque finish. The wide brush is just excellent for quick and precise application. I wore this nail polish for 4 days with only very minimal chipping appearing on the 4th day.
I love Essie nail polishes, especially if I can get them for a bargain :) And the range of shades is amazing!

Are you a fan of Essie nail polishes? What's on your nails this week?

    1. Most of the Essie polishes I have are from Fragrance Direct, I bought them at the fraction of the normal price :) x

  2. I have a similar shade from OPI (Dulce de Leche) but it's totally creamy (no shimmer at all). I love these kind of shades for when I don't really know what to wear on my nails. I also think it's really chic.
