Makeup Revolution little haul

Makeup Revolution haul

Hello!
Since the launch of their first products at the beginning of April I've been a fan of Makeup Revolution. Not all their products I've tried worked well for me but eye shadow palettes and blushes are definitely great and I really have to stop myself from buying all of them, especially with new exciting launches every couple of months. Recently Makeup Revolution added to their collection some interesting new products and as I actually needed some things I ordered a few bits and pieces.

Makeup Revolution haul

PRO Hygiene Antibacterial Brush Cleaner - this is something I've wanted for ages, it's a spray that instantly sterilize and disinfect brushes, perfect for keeping them clean every day. You just need to spray it couple of times directly on to the brush and then wipe the brush across a clean tissue or cloth to remove makeup until the bristles are completely clean and let it air dry. The brush is clean and ready to use in seconds. I've tried it already and it works very well and smells nice too.

Ultra All Day Prime and Anti-Shine Balm - "Diffuses imperfections and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The versatile formula can be used as a PRIMER to set and extend makeup wear, OR in place of a traditional pressed powder to ABSORB OILS & ELIMINATE SHINE, without leaving a powdery trace behind."
This sounds so intriguing that I had to put it in my basket, it looks like a solidified silicon primer, I haven't used it properly so will keep you updated how I get on with it.

Brow Dual Ultra Brow Arch&Shape in Medium - I still haven't found the perfect brow product for myself so this pencil caught my attention. It's a dual ended product with one end being a waxy pencil and the other very fine felt tip to define and shape the arch of your brows. The shade and the formula seem ok after swatching but I'm yet to try it.

I ♡ Makeup All Day and Night Eyeliner in 'The Last Laugh' and 'Dangerous Games' - the first one is a golden shade, the second is a grey with some sparkles. I've read already some great reviews about those eyeliners and I needed to get some for myself. The two shades I've chosen are different from what I have already in my collection and while the golden one is very soft and very pigmented, the grey applies a bit patchy but I haven't use them on my eyes so we shall see how well do they perform.

#Liphug lipstick in 'Keeps the Planet Spinning' and 'Want to Leave'? - these are new lipsticks from Makeup Revolution that claims to be very comfortable on the lips with great staying power and pigmentation. I can confirm that they feel quite moisturising on the lips, the pigmentation is good but the shades I've chosen are a bit sheerer than I expected them to be which make them actually ideal for everyday wear. I haven't tested them enough to comment on the staying power so will revew them probably in the near future.

Aqua Seal Liquid Eye Primer - I've heard many people commenting how great this primer is and seeing photos of shadows with and without it convinced me that I need it in my life, especially as I use only a concealer as my eye shadow primer.

Ultra Blush and Contour Palette 'Golden Sugar' - I had wanted one of their blush palette that were released some time ago but when I saw they added a new edition, the Golden Sugar, I decided to get this instead. From the first swatches I can say that the name is pretty accurate, there is lots of rose/brown/golden hues and lots of shimmer, definitely not for the matte blushes lovers. I still need to test it properly to form my opinion on it. So keep an eye for a review if you're interested :)

So that's all I bought recently from Makeup Revolution. I'm excited to try all the products and so far the first impressions were all good.
Have you bought recently anything from Makeup Revolution?

    1. I just tried the Aqua Seal yesterday and the difference was amazing, not with the staying power with my eye shadows as they normally last all day but the vibrancy of the colours was amazing! x

    1. I will probably review them, but so far so good, my only tiny disappointment is that they're sheerer than what I expect them to be :) x

  6. I just placed my first order and I'm waiting for the 13 products to arrive, haha. They were so tempting and cheap I just couldn't resist and because I live overseas it's always better to order a bit more!
I think the brow pencil looks great! Really want to get the anti-shine balm and blush palette too :)

    1. Their eye shadow palettes are awesome, definitely my favourite things from the brand. It's a shame that the products are rather expensive in your currency as they are actually very affordable here in UK. x
